APA/CPA -Border battle

The Nespresso coffee in the room, the beds were very comfortable, the lighting was very nice. The Irish pub restaurant on premises was delicious! HVAC was great. The temperature was regulated just right. Being on the fifth floor away from the elevator was nice and quiet. King size room very spacious .I loved the 2 chairs with ottomans!!! This is always a nice thing in a standard room. My mother had her own room, but she was able to visit me and vise versa for watching movies. It made the stay most enjoyable.

Shower pressure wasn't great. Being on the 5th floor maybe why. There was no fan in the bathroom. both bedside lamps didn't have charging ports, only one side did. Staying off season, I didn't like that we had to pay for parking, even though the front desk said the overflow was in next door lots by other businesses (?).

A very relaxing stay, with friendly staff. I would come again!

Room offered a comfortable bed, clean room, with fridge, microwave, and coffee m/c. Enjoyed lunch at Doc Magilligan’s restaurant/pub adjacent to hotel. The best was watching the Blue Jays game in front of a giant screen in the Golf Lounge, on comfortable couches!

Room was extremely outdated for the price Bad lighting in washroom, no vent fan in the bathroom View of roof mechanical systems was not to pleasing Coffee maker was too complicated to work To many extra taxes for the room cost if they are going to charge 65$ in extra charges then the nightly rate should be lower. Water pressure in shower was extremely low plus fixtures are from the 90s This was extremely disappointing I have stayed in cheaper hotels all across Canada Kingston,Ottawa,Montreal and Quebec just to list a few and had much nicer room facilities for a lot less. My Husband and I had been trying to get a booking at this Hotel for years and thought it would be a really nice place to stay but once past the lobby it was a major disappointment.

Not memorable aside from the breakfast

Staff were nice. The rooms were small but clean. Washrooms reminiscent of a cruse ship. The breakfast vouchers were soo worth it! The breakfast was huge and amazing for the family. Our room was cold, they had someone bring a heater and it worked amazing. Decent place for a temporary stay 2 days max.

Overpriced, period. The location is giving dirty Detroit…The people around the area and the large rats seen…questionable & eww. You would need a car, wouldn’t really recommend walking. Parking costs, not included and spaces are often limited. The pool is nice but always occupied and there’s constantly people making loud noise near the couches in the lounge area. The arcade is small and costs. Our room was locked initially even with the key, we had to wait a while for someone to open the door…and we checked in several hours later. Would I go back? …Not really

Clean comfy rooms, friendly helpful staff, gorgeous indoor resort area with nice pool, mature trees, it was like a greenhouse. Arcade was fun, breakfast was great.

Location was good. Bartender in the golf bar was a lovely young lady. A big shout out to her.

Staff was not very helpful when we arrived. We had to wander around to figure out how to get to our room, no direction given. Breakfast was not good at all, undercooked eggs, soggy toast bacon was good. Rooms are tired and bed was quite uncomfortable.

Poor value, below expectations

Very little to like about this property

It was dirty, I didn't realize how run down the area around the hotel was. I mean it's not the hotel's fault and I understand the affordability crisis we have right now, but there were lots of homeless people just sleeping around the outside of the hotel. And they charge you $20 for parking even though the parking lot is shared with a pizza hut, McDonald's and a grocery store. They charge a $9 per night Niagara fee, that you have to ask to be removed ( despite what the clerk says, it is not a municipal tax, that is a separate $5 charge) Room was not as pictured, kids play area was very dirty. Same garbage that was there on our first day was still there when we checked out 2 days later. Really awful property with misleading pictures. The room we bought was not the room I thought I had signed up for.

Amazing pool area—spacious, relaxing, and perfect for kids!

We loved the pool area! It’s a large space with plants, lounge chairs, a playground, and pools with hydromassage. My kids absolutely loved it. We had a great time and would definitely come back!

If you have kiddo's stay here!

Check in was super easy and fast, staff was excellent! As someone who's had their identity stolen, I appreciated that they front desk women took their time to double check that my husband was actually who's name was on our credit card. I know that would annoy most people, but it did not annoy me, thank you front desk ladies for doing that double check :) . Could not have asked for a better experience! Granddaughter LOVED the pool, play area and the hot tubs. We had a double queen on the first floor right next to the pool area, hotel has quiet times at night so there was zero noise and sleeping wasn't an issue. Room was large enough that I was able to move around in my wheelchair. After a long day at the Falls, it was nice to come back to several seating areas to hang out, LOVED the seating area outside of the room, was nice to be able to just hang out and not be cooped up in our room all the time. Seating out front to watch traffic was nice, although the generator was super loud (not that big of an issue). Smoking area out back was pleasant, with two large tables and lots of seating, could have used additional ashtrays closer to the tables. Wish we would have had more time to try the restaurant that is on property, but sadly there wasn't. Our room had a tub which was nice, for A) our little who still takes baths and B) myself for my shower chair. There were plenty of plugs and USB charging. The room had a fridge, but no microwave which was okay, we wouldn't have used it anyway. It also had a Nespresso coffee maker, not my cup of tea, I would have rathered just a regular old coffee machine, but no worries.

Bathroom doorway was not a standard size, was not wide enough to fit my wheelchair through. Not that big of an issue for me, I just put my leg on and was able to use the bathroom without issue. If you are confined to a wheelchair the standard rooms may not work for you.

Luxury is a state of mind, and here, it’s our reality.

There are numerous kid-friendly activities available. With all of the trees inside the hotel, the location is breathtaking. Niagara Falls is only a few minutes away. The breakfast was delicious. In addition, because it was our first time seeing Niagara Falls, we plan to return and stay at the same hotel.

No additional costs were disclosed when I made my reservation on Booking.com. However, we paid a refundable sum for insurance or something like when we arrived. Like the other hotels, please make sure to mention it somewhere.

Grandkids enjoyed the pool.

The staff was very friendly and the grandkids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was good. The staff we spoke to also had very good things to say about being employed at the hotel. We also noticed some areas had been freshly painted,

We kept the kids away from the arcade because that became a problem last year when they wanted to keep on playing and weren't winning anything. We told them they could spend less money at the store and buy exactly what they wanted. The pool, hot tub and area was clean. My only comment is that there was black mold present under the hand rail into the pool and in some areas around the edge of the pool. Our grandson has a serious mold health issue so that stood out for me right away.

This is a very family friendly location. The playground, pool, and arcade are great for the kids. The nespresso machines were also a good touch. The location is great as it is close to attractions, dining, and shopping.

The facilities need some updating in certain parts and it could use a deep cleaning. The pillowcases were also very rough on the skin.
