Beautiful rural area with a disused slate quarry which was interesting, very cosy with a nice log burner, wi fi hit and miss, comfortable bed, full of character, will stay again!
I found the shower a bit small and it took me ages to get the temperature right but that’s probably my stupidity, furniture rather dated

Beautiful location gorgeous cottage v quiet and quite private
No upstairs sink or toilet, bed matress wasnt firm enough. Hard too sleep on also we were unable to control the times the heating came on as it was prefixed so could feel cold at times and unable too control when the cottage was hot or cold ourselves

The cottage was cute and steeped in history
When we arrived the cottage hadn't been cleaned. We had a number to call if there were any issues and luckily clean bedding was brought to us before bedtime. It was very dusty in places with alot of cobwebs which makes me think a proper clean hasn't taken place in a while and therefore not covid compliant.
