Make your mountain getaway part of the adventure at Golden Oaks Immersive Mountain Retreat! Set on our 10-acre property in the rural foothills, this creatively decorated, two-bedroom, two-bath home offers a memorable home base for exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
Each space has its own personality. Settle into the cabin-inspired primary bedroom with a queen bed, discover the mine cavern bedroom with two twin beds, or unwind in the forest-and-fairy reading room. Handcrafted scenery and imaginative details bring a little wonder to your stay.
Enjoy a full kitchen for preparing meals, a comfortable living area, and room to gather after a day of sightseeing. A single futon and additional air mattresses offer flexible sleeping options. The primary bathroom has a shower, while the second bathroom has a bathtub without a shower.
Outside, enjoy your morning coffee at the bistro table, relax on the swing, and take in the surrounding mountain setting. Whether you’re planning park adventures or simply slowing down together, Golden Oaks offers a welcoming place to recharge.
We’re approximately 10 minutes from Highway 180 and about 40 minutes from the entrance to Kings Canyon National Park, with access to Sequoia National Park beyond. Allow additional travel time to reach attractions within the parks.
You’ll have the entire retreat to yourselves. We live nearby on the same property and are available if you need assistance.
Dogs must be leashed outdoors. All pets must be crated when left alone indoors. Bring your own litter box and litter for cats. This is a rural setting with local wildlife, including rattlesnakes, so please stay on designated paths. Parking is limited to two vehicles. No smoking indoors or outdoor fires; vaping is permitted outdoors only. Checkout is at 10 a.m.
