About this apartment rental
The space
Casa Olivo was fully renovated from the ground up, including new floors, walls, ceilings, electrical, and plumbing. Every fixture, finish, and piece of furniture was intentionally selected to create a warm, modern retreat inspired by coastal Mediterranean textures and earthy tones.
The open living area is anchored by a sculptural curved sofa, a mid-century accent chair, and a solid wood coffee table beneath a modern ceiling fan with natural wood blades. A 75” NXTFRAME Art TV sits above a walnut reeded media console with a Sonos soundbar, creating a cinematic setting for movie nights. Two olive trees frame the space alongside a sage-green arched display cabinet featuring curated ceramics, design books, and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker.
The dining area seats four at a solid oak table beneath a hand-woven rattan pendant light, with mountain and marina views as the backdrop. The kitchen is compact yet fully equipped, featuring an induction cooktop, stainless steel microwave, deep undermount sink with a brushed gold faucet, and natural oak cabinetry. An open pass-through keeps the living area and views always in sight.
The primary bedroom features a queen bed with a natural wood frame and bouclé upholstered headboard, marble-top nightstands, a dresser with mirror, woven pendant lighting, and ocean and city views from both windows. A full built-in closet with sliding doors and open shelving provides generous storage.
The second bedroom is a design statement, with a custom arched alcove framing the queen bed beneath soft curved architecture and Japanese-inspired paper lantern pendants. A panoramic window overlooks the marina with sailboats and yachts in full view, and a dedicated workstation offers an inspiring setup for focused work.
The bathroom was designed as a spa-like retreat, featuring a walk-in rain shower with glass enclosure, a natural marble vessel sink atop a floating oak vanity, a textured accent wall, brushed gold fixtures, and a recessed niche with greenery and premium toiletries.
The signature space is the panoramic glass sunroom, designed to support a slower, more intentional rhythm from morning to night. In the early hours, it’s a serene place for coffee or quiet reflection as the marina and ocean come to life. During the day, the space invites calm moments for meditation or gentle yoga, with provided mats and abundant natural light. As evening approaches, it transforms into the perfect setting for sunset drinks or an intimate dinner overlooking the marina and open sea. Floor-to-ceiling retractable crystal glass panels allow the room to shift effortlessly between open-air balcony and climate-controlled lounge, offering true indoor-outdoor living with uninterrupted 180-degree views.
Both bedrooms include independent AC units and blackout roller shades. High-speed WiFi runs on a Ubiquiti UniFi mesh network throughout the apartment. Netflix is included, and the entryway features a floating walnut console with mirror and a custom WiFi sign with your credentials.
A space designed for presence, balance, and unforgettable sunsets.
Guest access
Guests have full, private access to the entire apartment; both bedrooms, bathroom, living and dining areas, kitchen, and the panoramic glass sunroom. The space is exclusively yours for the duration of your stay.
You'll also enjoy all the amenities Dos Marinas has to offer, including a large oceanfront pool with mountain views, sun loungers, outdoor shower, tennis court, basketball court, pickleball court, racquetball courts, and a coin-operated laundry area.
Pool hours are from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Other things to note
Casa Olivo is located on the 18th floor of Dos Marinas II. The building has elevator access.
San Juan’s Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) is approximately 45–55 minutes away. El Yunque National Rainforest is about 12.5 miles from the property (roughly a 20-minute drive). Since Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, U.S. citizens and permanent residents do not need a passport—only a valid government-issued ID.
The panoramic glass sunroom features retractable crystal panels that can be opened or closed. We recommend keeping them closed during rain and opening them on clear evenings to enjoy the breeze. Sunsets from this room are extraordinary.
