Especially if you are going to visit all the major points of interest like all the area local beaches, Rainforest, the Spanish Fort, Old San Juan city, high mountain range coffee plantations, and inside island countryside towns. **Uber and Lyft will be spotty in some parts of the island coastal areas and inside island country areas. Save your precious vacation time by renting a car right there at the airport, freedom of travel in a rental car is the best experience here on the island.
**Our local beach is a short 5 minute drive straight down from the Condo, it is worth the visit since it has seven amazing emerald green color hues (hence the name Seven Seas).
Also, our local beaches, tree canopies, and rain forest are protected by govt. conservation laws; this prohibits the construction of private Condo buildings right on our treasured beaches.

We had a beautiful Marina view of the ocean.

Richard's condo was just as described. We appreciated all the updates and the cleanliness of condo inside and the outdoor balcony. The towels and bed linens were like new and higher quality than other places we've stayed. The views from the balcony were AMAZING - so neat to see the changing colors of the Atlantic throughout the day and the coming and going boats and tour groups. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals during our stay, although we preferred eating out at all the restaurants in the area. The infinity edge pool was our favorite. Not a direct reflection of the condo itself, but the walkway from this building to the closest pool was a bit treacherous and could use some maintenance, uneven pavers and extra rocks on top of those pavers. We managed okay, but could be challenging for someone older. Also, coordinating the key situation was a little bit tricky since there were 5 in our group and only one set of keys for getting around the complex (in and out of the building and condo, as well as in and out of the pool areas). We made it work, but would be nice if there was a second set for a bigger family like ours. Richard was great to work with, great communication before, during and after our stay. Even helped with securing a driver to get my SIL back to the airport a day early. Thank you again Richard!

We had a great stay at Peña Mar Ocean Club! Host was very communicative and helpful. The property was beautiful and very clean. We really liked the extra layers of security on the property which made us feel safe during our stay. We highly recommend and the only regret we have is we didn’t stay longer!

The condo is modern, will kept and clean. It has a good view of the marina. But be warned! The guard at the entrance gate will only let in the people on the contract. Some of them require photo ID to get into the property. This happens every time you leave and return (even for just a quick trip to the grocery store). This means that it is impossible for any other friends or family to visit or hang out with you while you are there. So if you are looking for a nice place to crash it's fine. If you want to have any kind of family gathering (even just a simple dinner) with people not actually staying at the condo, it is impossible.
