GODU Māja

A unique house concept – new on the outside, old on the inside. The fireplace can be heated from both the living room and the bedroom (one unit, two fireboxes). I liked the double-sided door between the two zones—the living area and the ground-floor bedrooms—which can be closed off when needed. Great design ideas with a "twist". The entire ground floor has a tiled floor. The hosts are truly exceptional: there was honey on the table, a waffle iron with all the necessary ingredients, and, in fact, everything one might need is already provided in the house. The sauna is located outdoors and is included in the price; the hot tub is available upon request.

Just a suggestion: the living room is one step lower than the area containing the bedrooms and the WC. This requires extra attention—while handrails are present, it might also be worth marking the edge of the step itself to draw attention to it and help prevent tripping.
