Whether you are looking for peace and quiet after visiting a trade fair, want to relax after a hike, or are planning a trip to Cologne during the Carnival season, this charming holiday apartment in the idyllic town of Leichlingen is the perfect choice for you.
With its rich history and traditions, Leichlingen combines urban amenities with easy access to nature. The friendly residents take pride in their town, where well-developed infrastructure goes hand in hand with long-standing traditions.
The town centre, with its shops and cafés, is just a five-minute walk away. However, it is the proximity to nature—and especially the beautiful surroundings of the River Wupper—that makes this location so special. The river is just 100 metres from the house, and its banks are perfect for leisurely walks.
This beautiful apartment offers plenty of space to relax and unwind. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment. Parquet flooring in the living areas and a large, modern bathroom add to your comfort. Sleeping arrangements include two comfortable double beds and a sofa bed in separate rooms.
The dining area is located in the bright, light-filled kitchen, which overlooks the garden and is fully equipped for preparing your meals.
Although the ceilings are nearly four metres high, the apartment stays warm during the colder months thanks to its modern central heating system. Even in the height of summer, the rooms remain pleasantly cool, as the thick walls typical of older buildings help prevent the apartment from overheating.
The nearest grocery store is just a short walk away and stays open until 10 p.m. There is also a bakery offering fresh bread rolls. A local market is held twice a week, providing a selection of fresh ingredients for your meals. Food lovers will also find excellent restaurants within easy walking distance.
The town has a modern swimming pool with both indoor and outdoor facilities, approximately a 20-minute walk from the apartment.
Cologne is easily accessible by direct train. The railway station is a 15-minute walk away, and the train journey to Cologne takes approximately 15 minutes.
There is also a water-skiing facility in Langenfeld, which can be reached in approximately 20 minutes.
