If needed, the couch can be converted into an additional bed. The spacious bathroom offers everything you need for daily use. Welcome to the “Stella” vacation apartment in Freyung—a cozy retreat in the heart of the Bavarian Forest. This 85-square-meter maisonette apartment truly lives up to its name, as the spacious skylights offer a wonderful view of the stars at night. As soon as you arrive, you’ll sense the special charm of the rooms, which captivate with a harmonious blend of light wood, the curved staircase leading up to the loft, and a modern Scandinavian style. The nature photographs on the walls are real eye-catchers; they were taken by the landlord and moment-collector Georg Knaus himself and printed on large-format canvas. They reflect the beauty of the surroundings and fit perfectly with the overall warm, inviting atmosphere of the home. They also subtly invite you to explore the immediate Bavarian Forest surroundings. A real highlight of the apartment is the view: From all four skylights as well as the two balcony doors, you look directly out onto Freyung and the rolling forests beyond—a low mountain range that has long been popular with vacationers. The view from the balcony, in particular, offers a wonderful atmosphere in the evening hours when the weather is nice and the sun sets behind the “Woid.” Check-in is between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Check-out is between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Keys will be handed over in person on-site. Tourist tax: 3.00 euros per day for guests aged 16 and older; 1.50 euros for children and teens aged 6 to 16; free for children under 6. Please contact us well in advance of the key handover. Pets are not allowed. A crib can be provided upon request for a fee of 20.00 EUR per stay.
