Serene Retreat: Your Personal Haven The name of the apartment, “Serene Retreat Carpe Diem,” was chosen with care. I designed this apartment with great attention to detail to offer you—and myself—a place of peace and relaxation. In our fast-paced world, we often don’t take enough time for ourselves. This apartment is meant to serve as an oasis of well-being where you can unwind and fully relax for the duration of your stay. Enjoy the breathtaking view, which is enchanting at any time of day. A warm welcome awaits you, along with the opportunity to make yourself a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy a glass of still water, so you can settle in peacefully without having to rush off right away. When furnishing the apartment, I took into account everything I myself would want in a vacation rental—and often found lacking. I hope you’ll find a sense of serenity here. Now a little bit about me… I’ve always loved pampering others and doing good for them… I grew up in a “family of restaurateurs,” which is why I spent the first half of my life in this field. In 2001, I moved from my native Czech Republic to Germany, and in 2007 I founded my wellness studio and found my calling. I’ve made it my mission to show—and, above all, help as many people as possible feel—how important it is to relax, unwind, connect with oneself, and appreciate the importance of one’s own being. So, in 2024, I seized the opportunity to create the first “Gelassenheit” apartment, and just two years later, in 2026, I added another one—this time with a separate bedroom—designing this beautiful apartment so that I, and above all my guests, can use it as a retreat from the stresses of everyday life. Thanks to the breathtaking view of the Bavarian Forest, many worries are instantly forgotten, and the process of unwinding, relaxing, and enjoying oneself can begin.

I’ve designed the apartment just as I would like it to be: first, settling in, enjoying a cup of tea or coffee along with a cool glass of water—without having to go shopping beforehand. I hope you feel just as comfortable in my “Relax Zone” as I do.

Welcome to the “Appartement Gelassenheit Geyersberg ‘Carpe Diem’” vacation rental in Freyung, your retreat for rest and relaxation. Here you’ll find comfortable accommodations with free Wi-Fi, just 38 km from Passau Cathedral, Passau Central Station, and the University of Passau. The Donau Golf Club Passau-Raßbach is also just 39 km away, while the Dreiländerhalle is 42 km away. This newly renovated apartment welcomes you to the Geyersberg-Freyung Vacation Park with a breathtaking view that invites you to dream. The apartment features a covered balcony and consists of a cozy living room with a pull-out sofa (140 x 200 cm) and a bedroom with a very comfortable double bed (180 x 200 cm)—all guests love it! A fully equipped kitchenette includes dishes, pots, pans, spices, olive oil, vinegar, two ceramic cooktops, a convection oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a kettle, a toaster, a Nescafé coffee maker, and a microwave. There is also a washing machine in the kitchen. An inviting dining area offers space for shared meals and social evenings. The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower and toilet. Towels and bed linens are included, and a hair dryer is provided.
For your maximum comfort, there is now a modern electronic door lock—you’ll receive a personal PIN code for flexible and contactless self-check-in—allowing you to check in anytime after 3:00 PM without needing to exchange keys.
The indoor pool and sauna are located in the same building—conveniently accessible in just your bathrobe without having to leave the house...
