Vacation Rental M113 is located on the 3rd floor of Building M in an apartment complex that is part of the Geyersberg Vacation Park. You will receive the Bavarian Forest AktivCard during your stay. The building has an elevator; there is free parking on the vacation park grounds and an underground parking garage with an affordable daily rate, as well as numerous recreational facilities that our guests are welcome to use. These include an indoor pool, a sauna, and playgrounds throughout the resort. The spacious 2.5-room family apartment has a large balcony with a stunning panoramic view. The bright, cozy living room features a leather couch (which can be converted into a sleeper sofa for a fifth person), two armchairs, a TV (with Magenta TV Premium), and a dining table. High-speed Wi-Fi is also available. The quietly situated bedroom, with a view of the forest, features a double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and a bunk bed (2 x 0.90 x 2.00 m), which is separated by a partition wall with a sliding door. The kitchen is small, modern, and functionally furnished and fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, range hood, ceramic cooktop, and oven. The interior bathroom features a toilet, sink, and shower. A spacious hallway rounds out the apartment. All rooms are equipped with heating, ensuring a cozy warmth even in winter. Pets are allowed upon request for an additional fee of 10 euros per night. We also have another apartment for 2 people on the 7th floor in the neighboring building. Our two apartments enjoy a fantastic south-facing location on the Geyersberg, which rises to about 800 m above sea level, overlooking the climatic health resort of Freyung near the Bavarian Forest National Park. The Bavarian State Garden Show will take place on the Geyersberg from 25.5.2023 to 5.10.2023. Vacation Apartment M113 is located in Building M on the 3rd floor, and Apartment N166 is in Building N (right next to Building M) on the 7th floor of an apartment complex that is part of the Geyersberg Vacation Park. The building has an elevator; there is free parking on the grounds of the vacation park and an underground parking garage with an affordable daily flat rate, as well as numerous recreational facilities that our guests are welcome to use. An indoor swimming pool is also part of the vacation park and can be used free of charge. In the immediate vicinity, the extensive network of hiking trails in the health resort of Freyung invites you to explore the surroundings on foot and experience the beautiful natural scenery. Other highlights include the treetop trail in the national park—which is also open in winter—and the Buchberger Leite torrent gorge. Destinations in Austria and the Czech Republic are just as easy to reach as the Bavarian cities of Passau, Regensburg, Straubing, and Munich. The county seat of Freyung has several supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and bars. It can be reached on foot or by city bus. At the centrally located tourist information office, you’ll receive expert information about the immediate surroundings, the border triangle, and the entire Bavarian Forest. The Bavarian Forest AktivCard is included in the price. Payment terms: 14 days prior to arrival via bank transfer. Visitor’s tax: €3 per night for guests aged 16 and older; €1.50 per night for guests aged 6 through 15; children under 6 are exempt from the tourist tax. The city of Freyung is a member of the so-called GUTi network (Guest Environmental Ticket), so you can use many of the region’s bus and train lines for free with your guest card. Check-in from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM; check-out from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Keys are handed over in person on site. Pets are allowed (surcharge of €10 per night).
