At The Austin Slowdown, there’s room to be together and room to breathe. Start the morning around the oversized kitchen island, settle in for board games, then share dinner beneath the covered patio lights while the kids enjoy the fenced backyard. Queen beds and bunks welcome the whole crew, while two living areas, two private workspaces, renovated bathrooms and fast fiber internet make family visits, group getaways and longer work stays feel easy. Come spread out, reconnect and stay awhile.

The space
Welcome to The Austin Slowdown, our Wells Branch home with room to gather and space to unwind. Bring the family, reconnect with friends or settle in for a longer Austin stay. There’s space for up to 10 guests, with a maximum of 6 adults.

☆☆ GATHER, COOK & UNWIND ☆☆

Mornings start around the kitchen island: someone makes coffee, someone puts breakfast together, and someone pulls up a seat just to talk. The kitchen opens to the main living room, keeping the cook in the conversation. Make dinner together, bring home takeout or put out snacks and let everyone help themselves.

Later, settle into a movie downstairs, choose a board game in the front sitting room or head to the upstairs lounge for a quieter evening. Everyone can find their spot.

All three bedrooms are upstairs:

* Primary suite: Two queen beds, a TV and a workspace with an ergonomic chair and printer. The private bathroom has a double vanity, walk-in shower and separate bathtub.
* Queen bedroom: One queen bed and a second workspace with an ergonomic office chair.
* Bunk bedroom: Two bunk beds with four individual twin sleeping spaces.

The queen bedroom and bunk room share a renovated bathroom with a tub/shower combination and large vanity. A half bathroom is downstairs. After a full day out, the primary suite’s separate bathtub is an invitation to take a little time for yourself.

Two separate workspaces let you close a door for a call while everyone else gets on with their day.

Take your morning coffee outside, or let dinner stretch into an evening beneath the string lights. The covered patio has a table, seating and ceiling fan overlooking the fenced backyard. The kids can enjoy some outdoor time while the grown-ups sit nearby, or everyone can spend an easy evening outside.

The washer and dryer make it easier to pack light and settle in for longer.

A car or rideshare makes exploring easiest. Traffic and events can increase travel times; some routes use toll roads. You’ll have the home, covered patio and fenced backyard to yourselves.

* Self check-in through the smart lock at the covered front entrance.
* Driveway parking for two standard-size vehicles.
* Washer and dryer available for guest use.
* The garage and locked owner’s supply closets are reserved for owner use.

Other things to note
Security Cameras: For your security, we use an exterior eufy video doorbell monitoring the front entrance, plus an exterior SoloCam monitoring the backyard . There are absolutely no cameras monitoring any interior spaces.

Neighborhood Rules: Our home is in a quiet, family-friendly residential neighborhood. To respect our neighbors, please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Parties and events are strictly prohibited.

Texas Environment: As is common in Texas, our home receives regular professional pest control. However, due to the natural environment, you might occasionally see a stray insect making its way inside.
