About this house rental
Stay in a true Tofino original. Built in 1932 and thoughtfully renovated, this character home is tucked in the heart of downtown, with sweeping Inner Harbour, ocean and mountain views from nearly every window. Watch wildlife from the sunroom, private deck or hot tub, then stroll to nearby restaurants, shops, galleries and beaches. With three bedrooms, two bathrooms and space for up to six guests, Arnet House offers a warm and memorable home base for experiencing the very best of Tofino.
Take in beautiful harbour and mountain views from the home, enjoy a quiet morning in the sunroom, or unwind in the private hot tub after a day exploring the coast. The fully equipped kitchen, generous living and dining areas, and three comfortable bedrooms make the house an inviting home base for families and friends.
The location is one of our favourite things about Arnet House. Step outside and you’re within easy walking distance of Tofino’s waterfront, restaurants, cafés, shops and galleries, while beaches and adventures on the water are only a short walk, or, drive away.
Keep an eye on the harbour and skies while you’re here — eagles are frequent visitors, and you may spot otters, seals, sea lions, or, even whales moving through the water below.
The Space

The home includes a spacious king bedroom with a comfortable seating area and ocean views, a queen bedroom with beautiful ocean views, and a third bedroom with two single beds.
There are two full bathrooms, including a spacious bathroom on the main floor with a large soaker tub, separate walk-in shower and laundry, as well as an additional three-piece bathroom with a shower upstairs.
Guests also have access to a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining spaces, sunroom, outdoor deck and BBQ, and private hot tub.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from a quick breakfast to a relaxed dinner at home. You’ll find a gas stove, full-size refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee grinder, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, cookware, dishes, glassware and the everyday essentials you need during your stay.
Enjoy complimentary coffee from Rhino and an assortment of teas.
Dining Area
The dining area is open to the main living spaces and offers a comfortable place to gather for meals, games or a glass of wine at the end of the day. The kitchen island also provides additional seating for six.
Sunroom
One of the most inviting spaces in the house, the sunroom is a lovely place to enjoy a quiet morning coffee, read a book or simply take in the changing light and activity around Tofino.
Living Room
The main living room is designed for relaxing and spending time together. Settle in after a day outdoors with comfortable seating, Optik TV and high-speed TELUS internet for streaming, working remotely or staying connected during your visit.
Upstairs Play Area
Upstairs, there is a dedicated play area for younger guests with space to unwind, play and enjoy some downtime. A baby gate and a selection of baby and family-friendly items are also available in the home.
Main Floor Bathroom
The main floor bathroom is spacious and well appointed, with a large soaker tub, separate walk-in shower and washer and dryer for guest use.
Upstairs Bathroom
The upstairs bathroom is a convenient three-piece bathroom with a shower, located near the bedrooms.
Bedroom One – King
A spacious and comfortable bedroom featuring a king-size bed and a cozy seating area. A calm, restful space to retreat to at the end of the day.
Bedroom Two – Queen
This welcoming bedroom features a queen-size bed and beautiful ocean views, making it a peaceful place to wake up and take in the surrounding scenery.
Bedroom Three – Twin
The third bedroom features two single beds and is a comfortable option for children, friends or guests who prefer separate sleeping arrangements.

For families travelling with little ones, Arnet House includes a baby gate and a selection of baby items to help make your stay a little easier. Please let us know if you have questions about what is available in the home.
Harbour Deck & Outdoor Space
Step outside onto the deck and take in beautiful views overlooking the harbour. Furnished with comfortable patio seating, it’s a lovely spot for morning coffee, afternoon drinks or simply watching the activity on the water.
A BBQ is provided for guest use, making it easy to enjoy relaxed meals outdoors.
Private Hot Tub
The private hot tub seats up to 4 guests and is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Tofino. Settle in, relax and enjoy the fresh coastal air from the comfort of the deck.
Good to Know
Arnet House is pet-friendly for a maximum of one dog, subject to prior approval and an applicable pet fee. Dogs must be declared at the time of booking and may not be let loose in the yard. The property is shared with a separate owner residence and long-term tenants, and the owners also have a small dog on site, so we ask that visiting dogs remain leashed and under their owner’s supervision while outdoors.
Our digital Welcome Book will be provided before your stay and includes the full house rules, detailed amenity information, helpful property instructions, and our recommendations for things to see, eat and do throughout Tofino, Ucluelet and the surrounding area.
BOOKING POLICIES:
- Bookings are subject to a cleaning fee plus GST, PST and MRDT (Municipal) tax.
- During the peak summer season (June 15 – Sept 15), houses have a 3 night minimum (or more) stay must be back-to-back to avoid gaps. If you book and create a one night gap, we will contact you to shuffle the reservation ahead.
- Mid-season rates apply on Winter long weekends and during Christmas.
- 3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays
- 5-10% discount for 7 nights or more not during peak season; reach out for it to be applied
- Monthly stays: PST and MRDT do not apply and the system service fee will be discounted so please reach out for a quote.
- Cancellation: 100% refund less $50 cancellation fee plus GST if cancelled more than 30 days before arrival. Non refundable if cancelled within 30 days of check-in. The different travel websites state slightly different as they are pre set options; this policy takes precedence.
- Only registered guests on property
- Direct Booking Damage Deposit: A damage deposit is held (not charged) the day of check in and released 5 business days after check out as long as no damage has been incurred if you are booking direct.
