About this house rental

Summary:

Meet your next home — where space, style, and a little bit of “wow” come together beautifully.

The Space:

This stunning four-bedroom family home is ready for real life — whether that’s kids racing down the hallway, dogs claiming their favourite sunny spot, or everyone gathering for a well-earned evening unwind. With three generous double bedrooms and a cosy single, there’s room for everyone (and then some).

The heart of the home is a bright, welcoming lounge that’s perfect for movie nights, lazy Sundays, or hosting friends who “just pop round” and stay for hours. The kitchen/breakfast room is equally inviting — ideal for everything from rushed morning coffees to long, chatty dinners. There’s even a dedicated home office space, so working from home feels just that little bit more civilised.

And then… the garden. Over 120 feet of it. Yes, really.

This outdoor haven is made for summer BBQs, evening drinks, kids burning off energy, and four-legged friends living their best life. With patio, dining, and lounging areas, it’s basically your own private park (minus the strangers).

Add in parking for 3–4 cars, and you’ve got a home that doesn’t just tick boxes — it casually strolls past them.

This isn’t a shiny new-build, and it doesn’t pretend to be! You may meet the odd creaky floorboard and spot a scuff or two along the way, but that’s all part of the home’s charm and character.

In short: big on space, big on comfort, and big on lifestyle.

Smarter Rent will ask for some additional guest details such as a copy of your ID & for you to sign a Smarter Rent Agreement (House Rules). This will be sent by a member of the team once your reservation has been confirmed, to make sure our service is what you expect. Over time we have created a few processes to ensure we can deliver a high service level and a great stay for every guest.

The Neighborhood:

There’s plenty to see and do around the area, whether your perfect day involves a riverside walk, exploring the countryside, keeping the kids entertained or heading out for a little royal sightseeing.

Right nearby you’ll find Braywick Nature Reserve, a lovely spot for a peaceful walk and some fresh air, while Bray Lake is another local favourite if you fancy getting out on the water. The lake offers activities including sailing and windsurfing, so you can make your stay as relaxing or as adventurous as you like.

The River Thames is also close by and is perfect for a leisurely walk, particularly around Maidenhead’s riverside. Head towards Boulter’s Lock and Ray Mill Island for pretty river views, gardens and a lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon.

You’re also brilliantly placed for a trip into Windsor. Visit the famous Windsor Castle, wander through the historic town centre or head out for a long walk through Windsor Great Park.

Travelling with children? LEGOLAND Windsor is within easy reach and makes for a fantastic family day out. For something a little more low-key, Maidenhead has parks, a cinema, leisure facilities and the Maidenhead Heritage Centre, where you can even have a go on a Spitfire simulator.

And don’t forget the nearby village of Bray, famous for its picturesque setting and rather impressive food scene. Whether you’re here for family adventures, country walks, days by the river or a trip to Windsor, there’s plenty nearby to keep you busy.

Getting Around:

Getting around is nice and easy from the property, whether you’re exploring Maidenhead, heading into London or venturing further around Berkshire.

The closest bus stops are right on Windsor Road, with Braywick Post Office just a short walk away and additional stops around Bray Lake. Local bus services connect the area with Maidenhead and surrounding towns, including services towards Windsor.

For train travel, Maidenhead railway station is around 3.2 km away and is the most useful station for most journeys. From here you can hop on the Elizabeth line towards central London, or travel towards Reading. Great Western Railway services also operate from Maidenhead, making it a really handy base if you’re travelling for work or planning a day out.

Taplow station is also around 3.2 km away, giving you another convenient option depending on where you’re heading.

If you fancy exploring without the car, Windsor is accessible by local bus, while the 704 service connects Maidenhead with Heathrow Terminal 5 via Slough.

With buses just a short stroll away and excellent rail connections from Maidenhead, it’s easy to leave the car behind and explore everything from Windsor and Reading to central London.
