NON-SMOKING, NO PETS, NO EXCEPTIONS, GORGEOUS, historical DOWNTOWN Clemson Tudor w all amenities, 3/2.5/LR/FR, around corner from campus and you can walk to everything! Good separation of space, turnkey experience. All you need to do is show up with your clothes and a great attitude!

Welcome to Christian's Historic Tudor, our wonderful (non-smoking, NO EXCEPTIONS) historic tudor located downtown Clemson and around the corner from award-winning Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. Fall 2026 football schedule at the end of this description.
This is our personal family home and have historically only shared it with extended family and friends, so we are hoping to meet families and future Tigers who are interested in developing a long-term relationship to have our home to come back again for a future Clemson trip.
ONE STORY as follows: 3/2.5/living/family/English Garden, mother-in-law suite and floorplan ensure wonderful separation of space. Front and rear porches, gas grill and tandem off-street parking for 8 cars. The house is literally around the corner from Clemson and the Clemson lake. All mattresses are QUEEN with the exception of the brass bed, which is full.
This approximately 2900sf house was built by a minister for his wife in 1942 and is anchored around a fireplace he built that is literally centered around a small triangular stone he brought back from the temples of Egypt....hence the mummies guarding the stone you see in the picture! WONDERFUL energy and quirky historical house with random pattern pickeled-eye ceilings, but updated with new central lighting and HVAC systems.
Our one story home consists of a large front living room flanked by an adjacent small study that contains a foosball table. Formal dining that seats 6 with two extra chairs. The dining room opens up to a beautiful English garden.
The eat-in kitchen has a multi-functional portable center island with locking wheels which allows you to roll it into the family room in order to accomodate others .....kitchen opens to a large family room with a walkout terrace to a greenview patio. The family room has a queen sized leather custom-made sleeper couch, a large window bench that would also sleep two small children or an oversized teenager, small desk area and laundry, and a guest bath.
3 nice-sized bedrooms with high quality cotton sheets and down pillows. Master has its own bath and the other two bedrooms have a jack-n-jill bathroom. As stated above, the family room affords additional sleeping with its queen sized bed and large sleeper bench, with a halfbath flanking the room.
This beautiful house is located around the corner from Clemson and the lake and you can literally walk to everything.
We hope you will treat our home as you would your own, and so in return hope to leave you with a great experience instead of the typical rental which means the furnishings, linens, dishes etc are all top of the line. We will even have a few nice surprises for you to start out your stay stress-free. Our goal is for you to show up, kick back and cheer on our Tigers!
