It’s a mile from the vibrant town centre and only moments from the four-mile stretch of sands that seal Felixstowe’s status as a holiday hot spot. For a healthy dose of salty sea air stroll along the prom, passing traditional amusement arcades, public gardens, upmarket bars and eateries en route to the confluence of the North Sea and River Deben. Just upriver, you can source fresh seafood from characterful Felixstowe Ferry (4 miles), or take the foot ferry to Bawdsey, famous as the birthplace of modern radar and steeped in military heritage. Head 1.5 miles in the opposite direction and as the sea meets the rivers Stour and Orwell, a ferry ride to Harwich will get you up close to huge container ships in the busy Port of Felixstowe.
Private parking means you can unpack at your own pace. Ascend the wooden stairs up to your front door and, once, inside, the studio-style apartment is awash with natural light thanks to huge windows that frame far-reaching sea views to the front.
