Welcome to The Fox Haus — a Big Bear mountain retreat with a few secrets.
Designed for families and groups who want more than simply a place to sleep, The Fox Haus combines more than 3,400 sq. ft. of mountain living with spaces created for gathering, playing, listening and unwinding.
The home accommodates up to 12 guests across four traditional bedrooms plus a Cinema/Bunk Room, with three full bathrooms and an oversized main-floor king Master Suite.
One of the property's signature experiences is the hidden Vinyl Vault, a vintage listening lounge featuring a Marantz 2238 receiver, ADS L710 speakers, Fluance RT85 turntable, record and CD collection, Bluetooth connectivity, poker table and custom Fox Haus poker chips.
Movie night has its own destination. The Cinema + Game Room includes a 120-inch 4K laser-projection cinema, streaming access, Xbox gaming, DVD collection, pool table, professional darts and bar area. Full-size bunks allow the room to sleep up to four.
The Great Room offers mountain views, oversized windows, a dramatic stone fireplace and comfortable gathering space. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped with KitchenAid appliances, cookware, dinnerware, spices and a coffee station offering espresso, drip coffee and French press options.
The main-floor Master Suite provides a quieter retreat with a king bed, vaulted timber ceiling, live-edge headboard, fireplace and seating area with views from every direction!
Outdoors, enjoy one of the best parts of a Big Bear stay: evenings beneath the pines. The property includes a 7-person hot tub, natural-gas firepit with wraparound seating, outdoor sectional, dining for 12, gas BBQ and cornhole.
