About this house rental
Come and enjoy your next coastal getaway in the heart of beautiful Cooks Beach. Designed for relaxed family holidays and group getaways, this spacious four-bedroom home sleeps up to 10 guests and combines comfortable open-plan living with sunny outdoor spaces, plus a separate games/entertainment room. The property is fully fenced, and pet-friendly, and is just a five-minute walk from the beach. There is also plenty of room to park two cars and a boat at the front of the property.
The space
The open-plan living, dining, and kitchen areas flow seamlessly onto east and west-facing decks, allowing you to enjoy the sun from morning through to evening. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything you need for your stay, including an espresso machine for your morning coffee. Outside, fire up the Weber BBQ and enjoy dinner on the deck, or relax on the bean bags and hammocks with a good book. The garage has been converted into a second lounge and activity space, complete with table tennis, a TV, and a great selection of board games, books, and toys for all ages.

Cooks Beach offers a safe, sheltered beach and easy access to the Purangi River, making it perfect for swimming, sunbathing, paddleboarding, fishing, boating, and other water activities. Boats can be launched directly from the beach or from the nearby boat ramp. The local dairy stocks ice creams and everyday essentials, and the village offers several great cafés, restaurants, and takeaway options.
Ideally located for exploring the wider Coromandel Peninsula, the home is within 10 minutes of a local winery, scenic coastal walks, pet-friendly beaches, and popular brunch spots. You can also take the ferry across to Whitianga for a day trip.
