Highly Recommend

The ideal place to spend quality family time. There's plenty of room for a family of 10x people. The house was in clean condition with plenty of towels to accommodate the number of people in the house who needed towels. All rooms and areas are well equipped. The spa was a bonus, as well as the location. My family of 10 were able to enjoy the surrounding lake and shops nearby by and a clean and tidy place to stay for a wedding nearby also. The host is easy to communicate with and very respectful. Highly recommend.

Excellent location, that was about the only good thing about the property.

The location was very good.

Old and dated chattels. The beds did not have comfortable mattresses. The kitchen was not complete with several utensils missing. No coffee plunger to have a decent cup of coffee. The rate paid was not value for money.

Absolutely outstanding!

The property was so central to everything! The lake being across the road was fantastic for afternoon walks. We absolutely loved our stay! The house is nice and spread out, giving our family space to not being on top of each other. We would 100% stay again next time we are coming to New Zealand

There wasn't anything to not "like" the property was fantastic, only "down side" we didn't have a bbq but other than that, the property was perfect!

Lovely house . Amazing view . Lots of space for a group . Swim spa looks amazing but we didn’t have time to use it . Good location

Could do with more mirrors in bedrooms , rubbish bins and tissues . Something going on with 3-4 sets of lights in lounge and dinning room , they all have at least 1 flickering light bulb . Also bathroom mirror light bulbs missing

A Wonderful First Stay – Thank You!

We recently stayed at this beautiful home as a family group of 10 while in town for a wedding, and it was the perfect base for our trip. The house itself is spacious, beautifully presented, and set in a peaceful spot with a serene view of the lake, ideal for relaxing and enjoying some privacy -an extra couch by the lounge window would be perfect for reading a book, or to accommodate a large booking. The layout worked really well for our family, and the small upstairs "room" was a surprisingly great fit for our teenager who appreciated having his own space, though it’s definitely more suited to children due to the low ceiling and short door. One of the highlights for all of us was the swim spa, such a bonus! It was perfect for a morning workout or winding down in the evening with stunning views of the lake. We did have a couple of minor issues with the hot water (main shower) and heating upstairs, but the host was amazing and had them sorted quickly. Communication throughout the whole process, from pre-booking questions to messages during our stay, was excellent. It was clear the host really cared about making our stay comfortable. The location was also great, just a short drive into the CBD, which made getting around super easy. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again. Thank you so much for having us. We wish you all the best with your hosting journey!

If we had to mention any downsides, the weather wasn’t ideal during our stay, so some doormats would’ve helped with the wet floors. A few small additions would make the home even more comfortable, especially in winter. Things like winter bedding, extra towels to match guest numbers, more cutlery, and access to basic cleaning items like a broom, mop, and vacuum. A dryer would also be helpful given the swim spa, wet weather, and towel needs.
