The hotel is very conveniently located, close to a shopping center and a gas station, and within walking distance of the main attractions. Parking is convenient.

Huge room! It was a 2 bedroom family room. They are renovating. I would definitely stay here again once they are done. For 1 night, it was fine.

Not a single utensil in the gorgeous kitchen. Not a glass a plate a fork, nothing!

Although repairs were being undertaken staf were poilte professional and helpful the helped locate a local place for a traditional breakfast which the themselves use the call them to say friends/guests are coming to treat them as faimly as there was no breakfast to to upgrading of hotel as it was December and slow part of season there were still a reasonable number of guests tea coffee were available and were complementary very satisfied overall will return again

Unforseen repairs and renovation

The receptionist was friendly and spoke good English. He also helped us to find some information. Reasonable location, about 10 minutes walk from a tram station with easy access to the bus station and city centre. The towels were large and of good quality.

Overall, for the price paid, this was not good value for money and we expected more. The hotel appears to be of good quality online, but the reality is not so polished. Housekeeping standard were poor. There were large pieces of debris on the floor that had not been vacuumed properly. The room was generally dusty and not completely clean. One of the pillows had a very large, obvious dirty stain that we had to have changed immediately. There was mold in the safe. The toilet seat was quite stained. The shower cubicle did not have enough space for toiletries. At breakfast we entered the room and waited by what appeared to be a maitre d's table; one member of staff just looked at us, but did not greet us. The hot food was barely tepid and the soup on one of the days of our stay was cold. Fruit was also bruised, croissants were undercooked, salad leaves were wilting and cakes were dry because they were not covered. Tables were all joined together with very few for couples. Many were left uncleared for ages.
