Relax with your family or friends at this peaceful vacation rental. You’re just 80 meters from the sea: Your vacation home (84 square meters) in Westerbergen on Fehmarn is nestled between wide-open fields and the Baltic Sea, featuring a private garden, a large terrace, 2 balconies, and a view of the water. A place for anyone seeking peace, nature, and the sea. Ideal for surfing and water sports enthusiasts, and for anyone who just wants to take a deep breath. Accommodates up to 5 people in 2 cozy bedrooms.
The Location—Between Fields and the Sea
Your house in the Westerbergen vacation community is located in one of Fehmarn’s most beautiful spots: nestled between vast, open fields on one side and the sea on the other—and the sea is actually just 80 meters away. From the balcony of the master bedroom, you can look out over the fields all the way to Lemkenhafen, where sailboats and windsurfers are out on the water.
Who this house is ideal for
This house is perfect for anyone looking to escape the daily grind and find true relaxation: nature lovers who enjoy long walks or bike rides along the coast or through the fields, families looking for a quiet, safe retreat, and, last but not least, surfers for whom the short distance to the water is worth its weight in gold.
The House
On the first floor, you’ll find an open-concept living-dining area with a cozy sofa nook. A wood-burning stove adds to the cozy atmosphere on cold days. The fully equipped country-style kitchen is perfect for cooking together. A modern shower room with a heated towel rack is available on the first floor.
The two bedrooms are located upstairs: the master bedroom with a comfortable box-spring bed, a small sitting area, and a private balcony with a view of the water, sleeping 2 people; and a children’s room with a loft bed, a desk, and gymnastic rings for playing—this room also has a private balcony and sleeps 3 people. This accommodation can accommodate up to 5 people.
Outdoors: Terrace, Balconies, and Garden
After a day at the beach or in the fields, the large wooden terrace with seating invites you to relax. A 600-square-meter garden is at your disposal.
Important Notes:
The base price for the house rental is listed for 2 people (including 2 sets of linens). Each additional guest pays 25€ per person per night.
We don’t have a TV in the house. So you’ll need to bring a laptop, iPad, or similar device if you want to watch something. Wi-Fi is available.
Since the house is surrounded by nature, insects may occasionally be present. All windows and three doors are therefore equipped with mosquito nets—but you should still be prepared for the occasional visitor.
You’re welcome to use the wood-burning stove—please provide your own firewood. If you use the stove, there’s a flat fee of 50 € for cleaning the stove, in addition to the final cleaning fee.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
On Fehmarn, visitors aged 18 and older are required to pay a visitor’s tax (Ostseecard): €2.30/day during the high season (May 15 – Sept. 14) and €1.50/day during the low season (Jan. 1 – May 14 & Sept. 15 – Dec. 31). You must pay these fees per guest via a URL linked to the property, which I will send to you separately.
