About this house rental
Cozy half-timbered vacation home with a view of the Fehmarn Sound Bridge—sleeps up to 6 (max. 4 adults)
Spend relaxing days in our lovingly furnished half of a half-timbered duplex, situated in an idyllic and quiet location—ideal for families with children. The house accommodates up to 6 people + 1 toddler (maximum 4 adults) and boasts a stunning view of the Fehmarn Sound Bridge, which you can enjoy right from the terrace—including unforgettable sunrises and sunsets!
The fenced-in yard with a cozy terrace, barbecue area, and a swing offers plenty of space for playing, relaxing, and enjoying social evenings.
Bicycles can be parked safely in the garden. A parking space right next to the house is, of course, available to you.
In the spacious living area, you’ll find a large dining table for shared meals, a fireplace for cozy evenings, and a modern smart TV. Direct access to the garden makes the first floor particularly inviting. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you could want—from a coffee maker to a dishwasher, it’s all there.
You’ll also find a guest bathroom with a washing machine on the first floor.
There are three bedrooms on the upper floor:
A spacious family room with a fantastic view of the Fehmarn Sound Bridge, furnished with a double bed, a single bed, a crib, and a spacious closet.
Another bedroom with two single beds and a closet.
A third bedroom with a single bed and a dresser.
The upstairs bathroom features a shower, toilet, and a changing table—perfect for families with small children.
Dogs are welcome in this vacation home (max. 1 dog), and the fenced-in yard is perfect for playing. Please note that other pets, such as cats and birds, are not allowed.
The vacation home is located in the small village of Avendorf, just about 1.5 km from the beautiful sandy beach in Fehmarnsund—ideal for swimmers, walkers, and anyone who loves the sea. The charming island capital of Burg, with its numerous shopping options, restaurants, cafés, and a wide range of recreational activities, is only about 6.5 km away—and you can easily reach it by bike along the idyllic inland lake.

The many attractions in the surrounding area ensure there’s never a dull moment and make your vacation both relaxing and unforgettable. We’ll also keep you regularly updated on current events and excursion tips on our Facebook page. Our on-site staff are also always happy to assist you.
You can optionally book an early check-in (arrival from 10 a.m.) or a late check-out (departure by 4 p.m.) for an additional fee of €20.00 each. We can confirm these options no earlier than 1 week before your arrival or departure; please send inquiries via email. During peak season, early check-in and late check-out are unfortunately not possible due to consecutive bookings.
Note regarding consecutive bookings during peak season:
During the high season, we can only accept direct consecutive bookings; this means that each booking must follow directly from the previous one and lead directly to the next one. Alternatively, there must be a gap between two bookings that meets the minimum rental period requirement. Unfortunately, the booking system cannot handle this automatically, so we must manually verify this rule after receiving the booking request.
Additional fees: Booking fee
For all bookings received by us on or after 01.08.2022, a separate flat-rate energy charge may apply. You can find detailed information on this in our Terms and Conditions under Section 4.

- Towel set: €8.00 per person
