About this apartment rental
The apartment is originally designed for 2 people, but it has a foldable double bed for reservations for 3- 4 people. This is an entire apartment rental. Therefore, the guest will have full and private access to the entire apartment. The check-in and check-out process is automatic through the use of smart locks and security codes. However, we will be available throughout the booking if you have any questions or concerns. We speak English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, and Portuguese.
To access the apartment on the second floor, you must use the stairs. Furthermore, the garage dimensions are narrow by international standards (approximately 2.18 meters wide, 2.04 meters high, and 6.12 meters long). The garage is private, but it is open. In the sense that people passing on the small street can always see your car, but the parking space itself belongs to the apartment. Therefore, only you can park there. If your car does not fit there or you have more than 1 car, there is free street parking 250 meters away (put "Parcheggio livre cimitero Meina" on Google for directions).
The small train station is next door, while bus stops and boat stops are all less than 1 km away. Boats to all villages around the lake, including Switzerland, can be taken from our village's harbor during high season. All trains that stop in our village also stop in Stresa, Arona, Milan, and the Swiss/Italian border city (Domodossola). Buses to Verbania, Milan, and Borgomanero are also available. Trains and buses run on all days throughout the year, including the winter months. Therefore, it is extremely easy to get around with public transportation between 6:00 and 22:00. Passenger trains, buses, and boats do not run overnight.
Given the close proximity to the train station, it is possible to hear the trains, especially when the balcony's double glass door is open. However, there are no big roads nearby and virtually no cars pass on our street.
