This first-floor self-catering apartment sits within a privately owned hotel and golf club, spread across 300 acres of Norfolk countryside. The setting and proximity to Norwich make it a good fit for couples and small families after a restful break with days out to hand. Norwich is rich in history and culture, from the Norman cathedral and castle to the photogenic Tudor and Georgian buildings of Elm Hill and the independent shops and cafes threaded through its lanes. The Norfolk Broads offer boat trips, riverside walks, and waterside pubs along 124 miles of navigable waterways, providing a calmer contrast to the city. Along the North Norfolk coast, Cromer delivers cliff-top walks and fresh crab, while Wells-next-the-Sea draws visitors with its harbour, marshes, and pine-backed beach. Back at the resort, the River Yare and Wensum walking paths provide gentle trails just beyond the grounds.
The front door opens into a bright living area with two large sofas and enough space for the whole party to settle in for the evening. The room leads through to a well-equipped kitchen and an adjoining dining area, where a generous table seats the group comfortably for meals together. Moving further through the apartment, the bedroom features a double bed alongside a dressing table, a wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. A private en-suite shower room fitted with a shower and WC sits just off this bedroom. Across the hall, the twin bedroom is furnished with two single beds, a wardrobe, and a dressing table, giving a self-contained feel for a second pair of guests or children. A separate bathroom with a shower over the bath, and a WC rounds out the first floor, offering a good option for a longer soak at the end of the day. The layout keeps the living spaces and bedrooms comfortably apart, so different members of the group can keep to their own routines.
A balcony furnished with a table and chairs provides space for al fresco dining overlooking the grounds. Guests have access to a heated pool, fitness centre, spa, and two 18-hole championship golf courses, all shared with other guests.
