About this apartment rental
This first-floor apartment sits right on the waterfront of the Penryn River, looking out across shifting views of the water with the town of Falmouth stretching along the riverside. Couples and small families seeking a relaxed coastal break will find it well placed to explore both the river and the surrounding south Cornwall coastline. Gyllyngvase Beach is 1.5 miles along the coast, known for its gently curving shoreline and clear water, where stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking are popular, with equipment available for hire on the beach as well as at Swanpool and Maenporth (2 and 4 miles respectively). Pendennis Castle (2 miles) stands on Pendennis Point, surrounded by lush gardens with views along the coast, and Castle Beach sits at the foot of its headland. From Falmouth's harbour, a ferry crosses the water to the Roseland Peninsula with its unspoiled coves and turquoise waters.
Sliding patio doors open from the open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area onto the balcony, flooding the space with natural light and wide river views.
