The apartment is located within a few steps of Meina\'s lakefront beach and cafés overlooking Lake Maggiore, with local trattorias serving lake fish dishes close by. Right outside, you will also find a bakery and several cafes overlooking the lake. Arona, with its lakeside promenade and the giant statue of San Carlo Borromeo, is around a 10-minute drive, and the medieval Rocca di Angera, with its doll museum and panoramic terraces, is about 35 minutes away. For boat trips, Stresa is around a 20-minute drive, with ferries to the Borromean Islands, Isola Bella\'s baroque palace and gardens, Isola Madre\'s botanical gardens, and the fishing village of Isola dei Pescatori. Mottarone, reached in about 40 minutes, has hiking trails, panoramic views over several lakes and the Alpyland alpine coaster, and the Bruschera wetland nature reserve near Angera, good for birdwatching, is around 30 minutes away.
