Aparthotel Arona

Amazing location and large space. This was perfect for the last couple of days of our vacation to spread out and get everything in order. The breathtaking views of the Lake cannot be beaten. It's just a short walk to go to the Rocca di Arona, which I would recommend and of course there are quite a number of very good restaurants a short walk away. You really cannot beat this location - we picked it as well because it's a short and easy drive to the Milan airport.

The only drawback some may face is if you need to use the aircon, it is a bit loud in the master bedroom (we turned it off and opted air from outside). If you open the windows in this master bedroom, there is some street noise. It's better to open the windows facing the Lake and let the air flow through the apartment this way. I mostly mention this as other reviews had complained about noise, but this wasn't a problem for us once we figured out how best to have a comfortable and quiet night. Slept great.

Fantastic location: Arona is a pretty town, the apartment is on a picturesque little square with plenty of good restaurants & cafés. The flat itself is in a beautifully restored house, it’s more spacious than the photos suggest and the kitchen is well-equipped. The terrace on the lakeside really made the trip for us!

The dustbin lorries make a bit of noise early in the morning - but that’s the price you pay for such a central location!

It as clean and tidy and nicely decorated.

Only 1 plug in the kitchen is a joke.
