Everything is on one level, one flight of stairs up from the street door.
Guest Access:
The whole studio is yours. There are no shared spaces and nobody else has a key.
Your own door opens straight onto Via Casanova at number 37: no lobby, no lift, no neighbours' landing to cross. From the door, one flight of stairs takes you up to the living area, which sits above street level. The staircase has step lights for arriving after dark.
The keys are waiting inside and stay with you for the whole stay. We coordinate your arrival on the day, so you're never left waiting on the pavement.
Luggage can't be left in the flat before check-in or after check-out: the cleaning team needs that window between stays. There are staffed left-luggage points right by Napoli Centrale, five minutes away, and we're happy to point you to one.
The Neighborhood:
Ponte di Casanova is a working Naples neighbourhood, not a postcard one: food shops, bakeries, a supermarket around the corner, people getting on with their day. It takes its name from the bridge linking Via Casanova to Piazza Nazionale.
What it buys you is position. The historic centre — Spaccanapoli, Via dei Tribunali, the Duomo, the Cappella Sansevero — is a 15 to 20 minute walk. Porta Nolana and its fish market are a few minutes away. The National Archaeological Museum, where the finds from Pompeii are kept, is about 25 minutes on foot or a couple of metro stops.
Piazza Garibaldi, beside the station, covers the practical side: supermarkets, pharmacies, shops open late.
It's a densely lived-in, lively part of the city. Come here for the position and the connections, not for a quiet scenic street.
Getting Around:
NAPOLI CENTRALE / PIAZZA GARIBALDI — about 600 m, five minutes on foot. From there:
• Circumvesuviana (EAV) — Herculaneum ~20 min, Pompeii ~35 min, Sorrento ~65 min
• Regional and high-speed trains — Salerno, Caserta, Rome
• Metro Line 1 and Line 2 — Toledo, Museo, Università, Vomero
• Alibus — Naples Capodichino airport, every 15 min, 20-25 min ride
PORT — Molo Beverello, for the ferries and hydrofoils to Capri, Ischia and Procida: about 10 minutes by taxi, or a short bus ride from Piazza Garibaldi.
ON FOOT — historic centre 15-20 min, Porta Nolana 5 min, Duomo ~18 min.
BY CAR — there are guarded garages nearby, roughly EUR 20-25 a day depending on the vehicle; ask us in advance and we'll point you to one. Note that much of the centre is a restricted traffic zone (ZTL).
Other Things to Note:
A BUSY STREET. Via Casanova is a main road and it's awake from early. The living area is a floor above it, with blackout curtains and air conditioning so you can sleep with the windows shut. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Guests tell us this is the one thing worth knowing in advance, and we'd rather you heard it from us than from a review.
STAIRS. One flight up from the street door, no lift.
A KITCHENETTE, NOT A FULL KITCHEN. Induction hob, microwave and fridge: right for breakfast and a simple dinner, not for a big cook-up. No oven and no washing machine in the flat; there's a coin laundry nearby.
Check-in from 14:00, check-out by 10:00. Minimum stay two nights.
City tax: EUR 6 per person per night, for the first 15 nights only.
Registration code (CIN): IT063049C2R4H4Y4JU
Interaction with Guests:
We're a Naples-based team and we answer in the platform message thread, usually within the hour.
Before you travel you'll have everything in writing: how to walk here from the station, how the door works, what to do when you arrive. We get in touch on the day of your arrival to coordinate the handover.
During your stay, write any time. Someone local can come round if something needs fixing. Otherwise we leave you to it: the studio is entirely yours and nobody turns up unannounced.
