In Bowness, you can visit the renowned World of Beatrix Potter and delve into her literary works. Lake Windermere offers various water sports, as well as opportunities for walking, cycling, and climbing amidst breathtaking scenery. After a day of adventure, you can visit the quaint village of Staveley, just 2 miles away, where you'll find a variety of dining options, as well as a butcher, bakery, brewery and ice cream/gelato parlour.
