About this house rental
Experience a serene Vermont mountain escape with space, comfort, and privacy. This light‑filled home offers a wraparound deck, outdoor fire pit, vaulted living area, and a fully equipped kitchen—ideal for family vacations, artist and nature retreats, quiet romantic getaways, ski adventures or focused remote work.
Enjoy fresh air, direct access to quiet trails and country roads. The village of Putney is a short drive away for dining and local shops.
Once here, you won’t want to leave.
This intentionally designed country home balances peaceful seclusion with modern comfort.
Inside you’ll find three comfortable bedrooms, a total of 4 beds, two full bathrooms, crisp linens, comforters, multiple throws and a variety of spaces to relax or work quietly. The primary bedroom on the main floor features an en‑suite bath with a soothing whirlpool tub and a hand held bidet sprayer for added comfort. The other two bedrooms are upstairs and there is a separate full bath upstairs with claw-foot tub and hand held bidet sprayer. All 3 bedrooms have queen size beds. The 4th bed is a full size pull out within one of the two living room couches.
Vaulted ceilings and large windows fill the main living area with natural light, creating a warm, open gathering space year‑round. The full size pull out couch in the living room gives added sleeping flexibility.
The fully equipped kitchen and dining area make shared meals easy, whether you’re cooking after a day outdoors or enjoying a relaxed evening in. Step outside to the wraparound deck for morning coffee, afternoon reading, or grilling at sunset.

The home is well located for exploring southern Vermont, with skiing at Stratton, Okemo, and Mount Snow within driving distance, and easy access to hiking, biking, boating and seasonal attractions.

Good to Know
- Maximum occupancy: 6 guests
- Quiet hours observed to respect neighbors 10pm-7am
- Country setting with seasonal winter conditions and lovely spring, fall and summer conditions
- Close to Brattleboro, VT and Bellows Falls, VT for more restaurants & shopping
- No parties, events, or pets
- Woodstove generally not used for heating unless exception made by owner but one dedicated candle may be used inside of stove.
There is an owner's apartment on the lower level of the house. It has a separate entrance on the left side of the building. The owners are only there part time. No interaction is necessary or expected unless desired (if we are available). There are no shared spaces. There is plenty of parking space but please do not park so as to obstruct entry to the driveway on the left side of the house.
(If staying in winter and you don't have AWD w snow tires, consider parking in front of shed near road to avoid getting stuck in driveway.)
