About this cabin rental

The Barton House at Kilpatrick Vintage Acres
If you enjoy peaceful, quiet serenity, The Barton House is the perfect escape for two. Step away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and trade busy schedules for quiet evenings around the campfire. This walk-in only cabin — tucked about 100 yards down into the valley from the parking area — offers a genuine glimpse into how life once was, reminding us of the care and effort behind everyday tasks we often take for granted.
Wake each morning to birdsong, spend your days exploring some of Northern Michigan’s most beautiful destinations, and end each evening beneath a blanket of stars beneath our dark, peaceful skies. Surrounded by nature and quiet countryside, The Barton House offers a simple, authentic Up North experience that’s becoming harder to find.
While you’re here, take time to wander Kilpatrick Vintage Acres, our growing outdoor collection of vintage automobiles, antique trucks, farm equipment, gas pumps, signs, and Americana. Every piece has a story, and we’re passionate about preserving these pieces of American history for future generations. It’s a unique experience you won’t find at most vacation rentals — and one more reason guests return year after year.
