Created in the 1890s as a vacation residence, this 100-acre property is the perfect secluded getaway. The main house has a 50' screened porch for dining, panoramic sunsets. At the lake shore, 1/3 of a mile down the private road, lies the one-bedroom log cabin with wide private waterfront where a boat can be conveniently docked. Enjoy forest wilderness, hammock, private neighborhood beach, and upstairs cozy porch also w/ super views!

--The space--
This is a Saturday - Saturday rental with 3 PM check in and 10 AM check out.

5 BRs in the main (stone) house are spacious, two en suite with bathrooms. Three total full baths on the second floor with the bedrooms, plus laundry.

Main house beds: Q, Q, F, F, T, T. Cabin has F and sofa bed.

Huge 50' LR was back-up rain location for our wedding of 100.

Waterfront log cabin is cozy and no-frills, with one BR and kitchenette. Rent a boat for the dock or a water trampoline! Cabin/dock is flanked by 300' untouched shore on each side -- unheard of -- and surrounded by conservation lands. Cabin water supply is from the clean lake, but not for drinking. Bottled spring water is provided at cabin.

No water hazards in the bay makes for easy access to the property by water.

Tennis ct is just past the bottom of the meadow. Surface has aged and there are some cracks and patches. New net.

Ping pong in basement. Tennis rackets/balls; beach toys for kids. Fully supplied kitchen, baths, laundry. Gas grill. Air conditioning consists of units in 3 or 4 of the main house bedrooms only. 43" TV with Netflix in LR.

Gated private driveway traverses the forested 100-acres to the main house. Then you walk or drive to the cabin/dock by the water. At the main house, no need to mind little kids for water safety since the shore is distant; all on this property.

Private sandy beach is a mile away, along the shore. The 100s of feet of beach are shared with other residents in neighborhood assn.

This rental offers unparalleled privacy --Visitors are astounded.

Beds made with linens only if optional fee paid that includes towels also. This offer is pending availability of the service, as set up by Maxfield Realty, expert agent with long history in the area. Need to reserve before the linen provider books up. Or you bring own sheets/towels and use pillows + blankets provided for each bed plus the sofabed.

Rental includes cleaning fee by team experienced with the property-- also set up by Maxfield Realty of Wolfeboro. An owner family member has another home on Black Point and is often available at check-in for assistance.

Sorry that events or any gatherings of >25 people are not allowed.

Please note - no pets.

--Guest access--
All 100 acres, including a hiking trail. Private country roads traverse the property from a wooden/stone gate at the south to the lake cabin at the north.

Maxfield Realty rents this house for us also via their website and provides the professional cleaning and optional linen services. Their expert Wolfeboro staff is on call for any issue.

All prior reviews on other platforms have been 5-star. Our family has owned and cared for this unique property for 60 years. Property is rented a few weeks only each year.

This property does not allow pets. If it's necessary to bring a service dog, that can be discussed if their service training is described.

Requests for cancellation refunds will be honored if they are made within 14 days after the date that the guest booked the stay. (e.g., if a booking is made January 1 for a July rental then we will work to refund fully in the VRBO system if the guest changes mind and notifies us via the VRBO messaging system by January 14.)
