About this house rental
Privately located 5-bedroom Winnipesaukee Lake house with additional 3-bedroom waterfront cottage located in Winter Harbor. Beautifully landscaped property with private beach and 2 docks. The owner will allow (1) boat up to 23 feet in length at each of the docks. This meticulously maintained property is the one your family and friends have been looking for.
The main house is a late 1800s farmhouse. On the lower level, there is a large dining room, an eat-in kitchen with stunning views, a half bath, and walk out access to the lake. On the main level, there is a large living room with glass sliders which open to a screened in porch with wonderful lake views. There is also one bedroom with a full-size bed. The main bathroom is located on this level with a claw foot tub and separate shower. On the upper level, there are 4 bedrooms, two with queen-size beds and two with full-size beds. There are window unit air conditioners in each bedroom as well as in the living room.
The one-level cottage is located at the water’s edge. It has 3 bedrooms, one with 2 twin-size beds, one with 1 queen size bed, and one with another queen-size bed. *Please note, two of the bedrooms in the cottage now will have one queen size bed in each room along with the third bedroom having (2) Twin size beds. * There is a separate dining area overlooking the lake. The living room is a comfortable space to gather and watch TV. There is also a den with beautiful lake views. The cottage has an A/C unit in the living room only.
The spacious yard is beautifully maintained and perfect for outdoor dining and enjoyment. Relax on the amazing sandy beach. For the boating enthusiasts, there are 2 docks with space for 1 boat on each dock. up to 23'.

This is truly a spectacular location and absolutely ideal for our family reunion of 12 people. We all, the youngsters in particular, loved the small beach and the direct access to the water. The dock allowed our son to moor his boat and we were able to make several short trips by boat into Wolfeboro. Both the house and the cottage were very well equipped and the BBQ’s were clean and functional.

We are a large group of many varying ages. Grandparents, young parents and little ones. It accommodated all of us in the two houses very comfortably. We were initially concerned with the number of bathrooms, it was never an issue! I am not sure if it has to do with zoning in the area or an environmental concern, but an outdoor shower would have been an absolute homerun.

We had a great time. We lost electricity twice. The first time was for 6 hours. That was hard because without electricity we had no water to flush the toilets. We had a great time.

beautiful property with great beach in winter harbor was exactly what we were looking for. two homes on property, the main house did smell really musty, smell never went away. Musty smell was worst in the basement area which is also where the kitchen is located. kitchen had everything you needed. the other building, cottage, was very nice right on water but the inside could have been cleaned better. the springs on the beds had 50 years of dust built up and some of the bed frames made alot of noise when you moved and made it impossible to sleep on. toilets in both homes didn't always flush and would sometimes take few hours to eventually work. Thankfully we had a beautiful week of weather and spent majority of time outside. location and lot are awesome though, one of the best spots in area.
