Although I live onsite, I respect my guests privacy. I am available by phone if my guests need anything.

Located just 30 minutes north of Huntsville and about one hour from Algonquin Provincial Park, it’s the perfect destination to unwind and reconnect with nature.

A Paddler’s Paradise
Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a solo retreat, a weekend with friends, or the perfect guys’ fishing trip, this peaceful riverside escape has everything you need.

Stay in your own private 33-foot vintage Golden Falcon camper, just steps from the water. Wake up to breathtaking sunrises, launch your kayak or canoe from your private dock, enjoy a refreshing swim, or spend the day fishing one of Ontario’s most scenic waterways.

Explore the Magnetawan River
The Magnetawan River offers over 65 km of incredible paddling and boating, connecting you to several beautiful lakes, including:

• Ahmic Lake
• Lake Cecebe
• Neighick (Beaver) Lake
• Crawford Lake
• Midlothian Lake
This area is known for its excellent fishing, peaceful waters, and stunning natural scenery, making it a favourite destination for paddlers and outdoor enthusiasts.

Your Private Waterfront Retreat

About the Camper
The Golden Falcon is a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained vintage 33-foot camper offering everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Sleeping Arrangements
• Double bed (comfortably sleeps two)
• Pull-out loveseat (one additional guest)
• Dinette converts to a small single bed
Maximum occupancy: 5 adults

Guests are welcome to bring tents if additional sleeping space is preferred.

Please bring your own:

• Bedding
• Towels
Eight pillows are provided for your comfort.
Kitchen towels provided

Boating Information
There is no boat launch on the property.

Nearby public launches include:

• Burk’s Falls – approximately 10 minutes by vehicle (30–40 minutes by boat)
• Port Carmen Marina in Magnetawan-approximately 10 minutes by vehicle (30–40 minutes by boat)
Enjoy exploring Lake Cecebe, Goose Lake, and the beautiful Magnetawan River.

About Your Host
I moved to the Almaguin Highlands from the Niagara Region in 2016 and have loved calling this beautiful area home ever since. I work as a nurse and enjoy spending my free time gardening, caring for my property, and enjoying everything the outdoors has to offer with family and friends.

Although I live on the property, I respect my guests’ privacy and am available by phone if you need anything during your stay.
