About this house rental

Nestled high in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Wintergreen Mountain Mist Retreat offers an effortless, elevated escape above the clouds. Designed to blend modern luxury with rustic serenity, this mountain estate is the ultimate sanctuary for relaxation and reconnection.

The High-Altitude Haven: Laurel Springs & Indian Rock
Situated high in Wintergreen’s Mountain Village at an elevation approaching 3,500 feet, the area immediately surrounding Blue Flint Lane offers the perfect balance of secluded tranquility and effortless resort access. This specific pocket of the mountain is known for its peaceful, deeply wooded setting, dramatic starry skies, and immediate connection to nature.

Why This Specific Spot is Ideal:
Prime Mountain Proximity: Located just off Laurel Springs Drive, this quiet, ultra-private residential cul-de-sac sits exactly where you want to be. It is just 2 miles from the Devils Knob Complex (home to the high-altitude golf course, indoor/outdoor racquet sports, and the full-service resort spa) and a mere 2.8 miles from the main ski slopes and Mountain Inn village core.

Backdoor Trail Access: The neighborhood is a paradise for hikers. The scenic trail to Shamokin Falls runs right through the wooded terrain directly behind this specific stretch of homes, allowing guests to step off the property and immediately immerse themselves in the forest.

A Pure "Silent Zone": Tucked away from the main resort traffic, this area boasts virtually zero ambient noise. It offers a truly relaxing environment where the only sounds are the mountain breezes, paired with some of the best unobstructed stargazing on the entire ridge.

Convenient Year-Round Infrastructure: Despite the private, tucked-away feel, the neighborhood features pristine, professional road maintenance and top-tier snow removal overseen by the Wintergreen Property Owners Association, ensuring seamless, effortless access in every season.

It is the ultimate "best of both worlds" mountaintop location—completely serene and surrounded by wilderness, yet under ten minutes from every premier amenity the resort has to offer.
