You' re 10 minutes from Bryson City's restaurants, shops and the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, 12 minutes from Harrah's Cherokee Casino and the Oconaluftee entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and right between the Tuckasegee and

Nantahala rivers for tubing, rafting and fishing. Fall color, winter casino weekends, spring waterfalls and summer

🚗 GETTING THERE

You'll want a car, but there's no mountain road to climb - the Sunset Farms cabins sit just off US-74/441 between

Sylva and Cherokee. Heading west on US-74/441, watch for mile markers 75-76 and turn right onto Sunset Farms

Rd (north side of the highway, easy to miss - look for the small billboard just past the turn), then left onto Vacation Drive. 63 Vacation Drive is down on the left. Free parking right at the cabin.

Sunset Farms - Deer is one of four cabins in the small Sunset Farms community in Whittier. It's a compact 2-bedroom cabin built for easy getaways, not a lodge - families with young kids and couples love it. You may see deer, turkeys, spiders, ladybugs or other mountain critters - we treat regularly, but they're part of the setting. A few porch steps lead up to the front door.

The washer and dryer are in a laundry room shared by the four cabins. Please move your laundry promptly, leave it tidy, and respect quiet hours.

🚭 Smoking No smoking inside. No parties or events.

🐕 Pet Policy Up to 2 dogs welcome with a $150 per-pet fee (a fee, not a deposit). Undisclosed pets: $500. Cats only with advance approval. Service animals welcome - please tell us before arrival.

Every reservation includes accidental damage coverage at no extra cost - it's built into the cleaning fee, so no hidden charges or surprises. This is a temporary hold, not a charge, released 3 days after departure once our post-stay inspection confirms no damages, missing items, or house-rule violations. If everything is in order, no action is needed and your bank releases the hold automatically.
