Not what we was hoping for thru Vacasa. Dirty house

Nothing.. house is Dirty , couch is disgusting , not clean, sticky shower curtains. Dirty ceiling fans return register vent hasn’t been cleaned in a very Long time.

False advertising

I liked the interior or the rental property , however it needed more cleaning. All the white frames, baseboards, back of the chairs and entrance door had built up film of blackened by use, very evident. The upholstery in sofa pillows and chairs was stained and sticky as well as the rugs in the bathrooms. Inside the house there was alive beetles, there was one even in my bed pillow. Also, there were dead bugs all over inside the house. The inside of the kitchen oven was really dirty.

There was no disclosure about a major road being at 50 yards of the rental property and the noise was unbearable outside the house day and night, neither no disclosure of the fact that a train runs thru the back of the property. Also, the instructions to get to the rental property were given to me 10 days before the departure. The road path was perilous and It was really complicated to get there. The GPS didn’t work in the area. The small deck next to the bonfire in the river was not there as it shows in the rental pictures.

House and property were very clean and well maintained. House smelled good.

Overall a fantastic place to stay that has everything to keep one entertained.

The place was very clean and nice. We loved the fire pit and being close to the river. We also enjoyed laying in the hammock and relaxing in the hot tub.

The road getting to the property was a big challenging as it is one way and not paved so it can be a bit challenging when approaching another vehicle.

I was nice location. Noisy due to hwy across the river though.

It didnt look as though it was cleaned prior to our arrival. There were dirty socks on the floor in one of the bedrooms. Also when you turn the fan and light on it trips breaker.

The location is great. It was easy to get to. Well furnished and comfortable.

I would have given an exceptional rating, but the dryer didn't work. The toilet lever kept failing off, and the toilet lid on the other one was leaning on the wall.

Exceptional

It is a beautiful vacation home with plenty of nature to enjoy.From fishing in the river behind the home,hiking along the railroad tracks in front of the home as well the swing bridge which lets you walk across the river itself.Serene and definitely a hidden gem.

Getting to the property was a little challenging it's definitely off the beaten path one very narrow road in and out as you continue to climb through the woods and it needs large enough mirrors where you can see as the car is either coming down or arriving upwards.We had 2 instances where we were going upwards and a vehicle was coming down and we both had to back up slowly to find enough room to pass by.

Wonderful!

The kids loved fishing from the backyard and we loved being in the mountains. It is close to the Cherokee entrance to the Smokies and we went hiking and fishing there daily.
