318 Lindo is professionally managed by Newport Beach Vacation Properties. This charming original beach house has been lovingly maintained and redone over the decades. Perfectly positioned between the piers on the Balboa peninsula, visitors will enjoy both the sun and surf on the beautiful beaches nearby. The bay-front is 7 houses away with multiple bay beaches for children not ready for the big waves of the Pacific Ocean.
The open floor-plan feels large with the living room, dining and kitchen connected for big family meals or friendly get togethers. The dining table can seat 8 and the stand-up bar at the kitchen is a great gathering place. The front patio is perfect for any meal at the large outdoor teak table.
The front upstairs bedroom has a bay view from the king bed and a comfortable sitting area that converts to an extra queen bed. The large back bedroom has 2 queen beds. A nice upstairs patio sits directly off this room. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and the bright “garden room” has a day bed that can sleep 1 or 2 and contains extra seating. These 3 sitting areas allow your group to all be together or spread out for different activities. Outdoor seating areas allow for sun or shade all day.
The house has all the amenities: Wi-Fi, cable, a fully equipped kitchen, linens, washer and dryer. The house is filled with beautiful varnished wood and hand-built details, the “schooner” bathroom, the owner’s local artwork, books, games, and a ships bell to ring for dinner.

- Parking is provided at your rental unit. However, we cannot guarantee your vehicle will fit in the designated spot, so you may need to find street parking. Street parking can be impacted due to proximity to the beach.
- We do our best to stay on top of any remodels or construction happening near our properties, but construction can pop up in the City of Newport Beach without notice. By city rule, construction is only permitted Monday through Friday, 7am to 6:30pm.

It was awesome! The cottage is lovely- certainly something from another time. The details are charming, the history wonderful, the location perfect. There was a stunning bouquet of roses on the table to greet us when we arrived, which we loved. Property management was welcoming and responsive. We were there in December, and the weather was unusually cold. When we asked management for help staying warm, they jumped through hoops to provide space heaters- for which we were so grateful! All in all a memorable stay, and we hope to return someday!

The location of this house is ideal...between the Bayfront and the Beach. It is so beautifully done inside with nice paintings and boat like decor. We had a blast. We used the upstairs for the young adults and the downstairs for "the other ones". It was perfect. Clean, practical and all was done for us to have a fabulous vacation. We loved the option to ne able to rent extra items as beach towels, chairs, would have been hard to bring those with us on the plane!!! My mom was visiting from France and enjoyed everything about this home and of course Newport Beach. We will come back and we definitly recommend this property.

It was wonderful, unfortunately due to oil spill, the beach was not open. Otherwise, it was a wonderful getaway to the OC!

This wonderful house allowed us to have a great stay with the best of the beach & bay & no parking issues. The side yard allowed us to relax while the small children played & we BBQ'd. Since I have family in the area, they visited & there was plenty of room since the front of the house has a front porch along with a table, which is in the shade from the tree. The large kitchen provided ample area for food prep. Having access thru the back gate was also handy for unloading & extra parking if needed. Overall, this was above our expectations for a great place to stay!
