Modern Cozy Guesthouse in Prime Central Location

We stayed for two nights as a family of four (3 adults and 1 child). There were two large beds in separate rooms and a sofa, so we had enough space and were comfortable. For Vancouver prices, it was good value for money as a budget option for a short stay. The bed linen and towels were clean, basic toiletries were provided, and we had no problems with street parking.

However, the apartment definitely needs a deep cleaning and some renovation. The walls and floors were quite dirty, the appliances and bathroom fixtures were old, and the shower was held together with tape/plastic ties and had to be held by hand. The floors were so dirty that I ended up throwing away my socks after the stay. Communication could also be improved. We received the check-in code only a couple of hours before arrival after contacting Booking.com support. We also kept receiving messages asking us to pay through another link even though we had already paid through Booking.com, which was confusing and initially made us worry it might be a scam. Overall, a reasonable budget option for Vancouver, but cleanliness, maintenance and communication definitely need improvement.
