The heart of the home is the spacious kitchen and dining area, where large windows frame views of the terrace and surrounding countryside, creating a bright and welcoming space for gathering together. Fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer, you'll have everything needed for a comfortable stay. We also provide complimentary tea and coffee, along with salt and pepper, so feel free to help yourself. The large rustic dining table is perfect for family meals, while the cosy lounge area offers comfortable seating, smart entertainment facilities and free WiFi, so you can stream all your favourite shows through platforms like Netflix or Prime (just log in with your own account), making it an ideal space to relax and unwind after a day exploring the Sussex countryside.
BATHROOM
On the ground floor, you'll find a modern shower room complete with a shower, toilet and wash basin.
Upstairs, 1st Floor, the Victorian-style family bathroom features a bath with a hand-held shower attachment, WC and wash basin.
We provide plenty of bath towels, hand towels and bath mats.

OUDOOR PATIO/GARDEN:
Step outside to your private terrace complete with garden furniture and barbecue, perfect for al fresco dining during the warmer months. The surrounding gardens and woodland provide peaceful walks and beautiful countryside views, while tennis enthusiasts can arrange access to the nearby tennis court with the owner.
Please note there is a small pond within the grounds which is unfenced, so children should be supervised at all times.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Although the owners live across the garden, Medleys Barn enjoys its own private entrance, terrace and outdoor space, allowing guests to relax in complete privacy.
There are also several excellent country pubs nearby, perfect for a leisurely lunch or evening meal after a day exploring.
Guests are welcome to use the shared tennis court during their stay - simply bring your own racquets and tennis balls.
If you like playing cards, there’s a bridge table and cards at the barn.
Pottery lessons can be arranged in advance with the owner at the pottery studio, just a short walk from the barn
There’s another tiny holiday let across the way, but they won’t bother you as a completely separate building. The two places can be rented together to sleep 8 in total.
