It is a peaceful place, punctuated by birdsong, particularly at dusk. The property is bordered by a cul-de-sac shaded by tall ash trees, ideal for young children to learn to ride their bikes in complete peace and quiet. The village is accessible via a lovely 2 km walk. It consists of traditional Norman half-timbered houses and a castle.
