Want to take a truly special vacation? Come aboard “Mien Schipp,” our houseboat in the port of Burgtiefe. The highlight is the spacious upper deck with a fantastic view of the Baltic Sea—here you can watch the harbor activity. Below deck, you’ll find a small apartment on the water that accommodates up to four guests.
“Mien Schipp” is securely moored in the harbor of Burgtiefe (you can’t set sail with this houseboat) and is perfect for anyone who wants to experience that special maritime atmosphere. You can enjoy ocean views from nearly every room, and the Baltic Sea is right at your fingertips. From the stern deck, you’ll also have a wonderful view of the harbor entrance and the maritime activity.
On board, you’ll find two bedrooms—one with a bunk bed (90x200) and one with a double bed (140x200)—as well as a bathroom with a shower and an additional toilet. The living and dining area features an open layout and is furnished with a cozy sofa and a small TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and provides everything you need for your stay. A high chair for small children is also provided.
The houseboat is equipped to accommodate guests with allergies. Wi-Fi is available via the Vodafone GigaCube and the public network in the harbor. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed on the boat.
Burgtiefe
The "Mien Schipp" is located in Burgtiefe on the Baltic Sea island of Fehmarn—an ideal starting point for a varied vacation. Just a few minutes’ walk from the boat is the fine-sand Südstrand, where you can rent beach chairs or use pedal boats. In the immediate vicinity, you’ll also find the FehMare seawater indoor pool, various restaurants, cozy cafés, and a bike rental shop.
There’s also plenty to discover for active vacationers and families: In the nearby port of Burgstaaken, you can buy freshly caught fish straight from the fishing boat, visit the submarine museum, go indoor karting, play mini-golf, or conquer the heights at Silo Climbing., If you’re in the mood for a little stroll through town, Burg is well worth a visit with its charming old town and many small, unique shops and restaurants.
