Studio Bambu in Santa Teresa: nature, design, comfort and fast 800 Mbps Wi-Fi plan in Largo das Neves. Experience the bucolic, artistic and vibrant essence of Rio de Janeiro at Studio Bambu, a modern, functional and totally independent retreat in a strategic and bustling location in Santa Teresa. Located in Largo das Neves, the space combines the cultural energy of the neighborhood with the silence and privacy of a setback townhouse at the back of the property. It's a charming, complete and strategic base for those who want to explore the city with ease, work with stability, enjoy events, beaches and nightlife, and rest in comfort. We are in a lively and traditional square, surrounded by bars, cultural activity and local events. The iconic Santa Teresa tram and bus lines stop about 20 meters from the gate, facilitating travel to the city center, Lapa, Arcos da Lapa and connections to other tourist attractions. For those arriving by car, there is free and easy street parking in front of the gate, as well as the possibility of an economical daily rate in a private parking lot at the church across the street, a third-party service arranged directly with the local administration. The space: The Studio was designed to offer autonomy, comfort, and practicality in an integrated environment. It features a Queen Size bed (160x200 cm), a double sofa bed (130x190 cm), air conditioning, a ceiling fan with remote control, and blackout curtains that darken the room and promote quality rest at any time of day. For organization, there is a wardrobe with a clothes rack and drawers. Connectivity is a key feature: 800 Mbps Wi-Fi plan, with a point inside the accommodation, ideal for video calls, remote work, streaming, and simultaneous use. The countertop functions as a home office station and also as a vanity, with an illuminated mirror, hairdryer, and steamer iron. For leisure, there is a 43-inch Samsung Smart TV with easy access to streaming platforms. The kitchen is fully equipped for quick meals or more elaborate preparations: a 4-burner stove with oven, microwave, air fryer/electric fryer, coffee maker, sandwich maker, blender, and mini-fridge. A major plus is the electric water purifier with three temperature settings—chilled, room temperature, and cold—eliminating the need to buy bottles or jugs, especially for late arrivals. The coffee area uses safe equipment, avoiding fragile glass carafes on stone countertops. The bathroom is functional, with a glass shower enclosure and an electric shower equipped with a pressure booster, providing a more comfortable and relaxing shower. The studio also has an intercom, facilitating the screening and safe receipt of delivery orders. The linens are of high quality, with soft and carefully sanitized bed and bath items. Mattresses and pillows have waterproof, breathable fabric protectors, without noisy plastics, preserving sleep comfort. Access and privacy: Access to the property is through the main gate on the street, followed by a shared corridor of approximately 15 meters that serves the houses on the property. Studio Bambu is located in a charming two-story house, set back at the rear, which helps isolate the private area from the movement of the square and ensures more silence and privacy. Please note the physical characteristics: exclusive access to the unit is via a linear staircase of 22 steps. We recommend paying attention to this detail if the group is traveling with very heavy luggage or if any guest has mobility restrictions. Location, transport and distances: The location is privileged: You will be a few steps from transport, the square, bars and the cultural life of Santa Teresa, but with the necessary distance for a peaceful rest. The Santa Teresa Tourist Tram passes by the door, offering a classic and charming Rio experience through the Lapa Arches, with connections to the city center and easy access to the Corcovado/Christ the Redeemer train. • Marquês de Sapucaí Sambadrome: about 750 meters, a short walk to the Carnival parades. • Lapa: approximately 10 minutes by car; For those who enjoy walking, it's also possible to go on foot. • Maracanã: about 15 minutes by car, with easy access to games, shows and major events. • City center and museums: about 10 to 15 minutes by car to the Museum of Tomorrow, Rio Art Museum (MAR), Museum of Modern Art (MAM) and financial center. • Flamengo Park: about 15 minutes by car, great for walking, running, outdoor recreation and sporting events such as marathons. • South Zone beaches: Copacabana and Ipanema are about 20 to 30 minutes by car, depending on traffic.• Large shows and events on the waterfront (Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon and Lagoa) or in Guanabara Bay (Flamengo and Botafogo): strategic location for quick commutes, returning to the tranquility of Santa Teresa. • Culture, events and neighborhood profile: Santa Teresa is a historic, artistic and lively neighborhood throughout the year. The Largo das Neves area has urban life, bars, events and the typical movement of a tourist and cultural area. It is perfect for those seeking practicality, local immersion and short commutes, but it is important to be aware that it is a vibrant point of the city. • Carnival: traditional Santa Teresa blocks, such as Carmelitas, and other processions parade in the street and surrounding area. The Sambadrome is a short walk away. • Open Doors Art: between September and October, local studios welcome visitors in one of the neighborhood's best-known cultural circuits. • Cervejeresa: in November, a gastronomic and craft beer festival that boosts restaurants and businesses in the region. • Santa Teresa Natal Luz: in December, the neighborhood is illuminated and takes on a special end-of-year atmosphere. • Easy access to Largo dos Guimarães, which has more bars and events. • Nature, parking and security: Our land is a true refuge integrated with the local vegetation, with frequent visits from monkeys, birds, wild animals and cats, both ours and those of the neighborhood. It's a delightful experience of interacting with the urban fauna of Santa Teresa, but we ask that doors and windows be kept closed whenever the group is away, to protect the animals and preserve the accommodation. Street parking is usually easy and free right in front of the entrance gate. Alternatively, there is the possibility of using private parking inside the church across the street, with affordable daily rates; prices, availability, and details should be arranged directly with the church administration, as this is a third-party service. For the protection of guests and property, the property has security cameras exclusively monitoring the shared access corridor and the main external street entrance. Privacy inside the studio and in the private areas is absolutely respected.
