Pike lodge

Myself, the hubby and 3 children (aged 8 and under) had a great weekend here at this property. Our host Fionn was very helpful and communication prior to arrival was excellent and very welcomed. He did pop up to check in with us when we checked in just to make sure we were sorted and if we needed anything. The view of the lough can be seen from the driveway for all its glory. The families living in the drive were also so lovely, my two younger children had a great time making a new little pal. The property itself was very nice and had just about everything we needed, the bed linen and towels were lovely and soft and we were very greatful for the milk that was left along with tea, coffee and sugar as it was well needed after the drive there. Cleaning items supplied and toiletries too. If were to return to the area, it would be my first choice for accommodation for the family.

The only thing would be to supply a toaster, we did use the grill so we managed and maybe some children's plates, cups, bowls and cutlery and a few more kitchen utensils-pizza slicer and tray. It might also be a point to add in an additional bin purely just for recycling or food waste. If were were staying longer a clothes horse to dry clothes would also be good and an ironing board ( we didn't see them as we did not need them on this occasion so they may have been there).
