The River Mountain Lodge is one of Breck's premier properties. “Ski in” - at the bottom of 4 O'clock run. Entering the building, you feel like you are walking into a ski lodge, a large fireplace, large sitting area, and even a small bar for gathering with friends.

NOTE: The pool is CLOSED for renovations until October 2026.

The 2nd bed is a sofa bed with memory foam mattress - it is very comfortable.

Fully furnished (including the kitchen with upgraded cookware and utensils, see the picture) with upgraded linens.

Other things to note:
River Mountain Lodge feels like a real lodge, complete with a large fireplace in the common area and a bar. Also, River Mountain Lodge is a Vail Resorts property, so it is managed to the highest standards. There is also a 24x7 front desk that is run my Vail, the staff will be helpful but they don't manage this unit.

There is a sports shop on-site: bikes in the summer and skis/boards in the winter.

This lodge is ski-in. You take the Four O'Clock run, which ends across the street. Just take off your skis, walk across Ski Hill Road and into the lodge where the staff will check your skis.

To get to the mountain, you have two options:
1) The ski shuttle bus picks up on Ski Hill Road, going two directions (one immediately in front of the lodge) and the other across the street where Four O'Clock run terminates.
2) A short walk to the Gondola (0.3 mile/6 minutes). See the photo with the map. Ski-Out is nice but there are not any property's that are located directly in the middle of town that are ski-out.
