Villa Farfalla is a gated four-bedroom retreat in the heart of Montecito, minutes from Butterfly Beach and an easy stroll to Coast Village Road. A chef's kitchen opens to a dramatic two-story family room, with fireplaces throughout, a wine cellar and bar, and a private fitness studio. Kids claim the bunk room with its projector and theater screen. Outside, landscaped grounds with a patio fireplace, grill, and outdoor shower. Beach cart and chairs packed. Two secure spaces behind private gates.



The Space:

Three levels, four bedrooms, sleeps ten.



Behind private gates, a courtyard framed by star jasmine leads inside. The main level holds a chef's kitchen with premium appliances, All-Clad cookware, and a Nespresso machine, opening to a two-story family room. There is a formal dining room, a wood-paneled living room with a fireplace, a home office, and central air conditioning.



The main-level primary suite opens through French doors to the patio, with a spa tub, heated bathroom floors, and a walk-in closet. Upstairs, two guest suites each have an en-suite bath and walk-in closet. The lower level holds a custom bunk room with four beds, a projector, theater screen, and surround sound, plus a wine cellar and bar and a fitness studio with a Peloton Tread, Peloton Bike+, free weights, and yoga mats.



Outside, landscaped grounds offer multiple lounge areas, a back patio with its own fireplace, a stainless steel grill, and an outdoor shower. Apple TV on every television and Sonos for music.



Guest Access:

Guests have the entire home and grounds to themselves.



Parking: the private gated driveway holds two spaces on the left plus one alongside the garage doors, with street parking for additional cars.



Beach gear is ready and waiting: a beach cart, chairs, umbrellas, towels, and sand toys.



The Neighborhood:

Montecito is quiet, green, and famously private, and Villa Farfalla sits right in the middle of it. Butterfly Beach, the stretch of sand below the Biltmore where locals gather for sunset, is minutes from the door.



Coast Village Road is an easy stroll and covers most of what you need: coffee, casual lunches, acclaimed dinners, boutiques, and galleries. A few minutes further are the Rosewood Miramar Beach, San Ysidro Ranch, Lotusland, and the Upper Village at San Ysidro and East Valley.



For hikers, the Cold Spring and San Ysidro trailheads are a short drive and best done early. Downtown Santa Barbara, the harbor, State Street, and the Funk Zone tasting rooms are about ten minutes by car, and the Santa Ynez Valley wine country is under an hour.



Getting Around:

A car is the easiest way to enjoy Montecito, and the driveway holds three with street parking for more. Coast Village Road is walkable from the house, and Butterfly Beach is a few minutes away with the beach cart.



Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is about 20 minutes north and LAX is roughly two hours south. The Santa Barbara Amtrak station is about ten minutes away, and rideshare is reliable throughout Montecito and Santa Barbara.
