About this house rental
Casa Rio is a beautifully restored 1925 duplex tucked into a quiet, tree-lined street in Miami, just minutes from Wynwood, Downtown, and the airport. The whole home unlocks both floors — four bedrooms and four bathrooms across two connected levels, linked by an original staircase that still carries the character of the house's early-1900s roots.
Downstairs, an open kitchen with a full eating bar flows straight into the dining and living room — the natural gathering spot for morning coffee or a group dinner after a day at the beach. A half bath sits just off the main living area for guests. Upstairs, the primary suite offers a king bed and en-suite bath, with additional bedrooms sharing the second floor, each finished with the same warm, light-filled character as the rest of the home.
With room for up to 15 guests across the whole house, Casa Rio works equally well for a big family reunion, a group of friends splitting up by floor, or two separate parties who'd rather each have their own private level. Every stay includes fast wifi, a fully stocked kitchen, and easy street parking right out front.
Casa Rio sits at the edge of Miami's Health District, an easy 10–15 minute walk to the Civic Center Metrorail station (1501 NW 12th Ave), where the Orange and Green Lines connect you north to Miami International Airport in just a few stops, and south through Downtown Miami and Brickell toward Coconut Grove and Dadeland. Once you're in Downtown or Brickell, the free Metromover loop gets you around the urban core without needing a car.
For South Beach, the most direct public transit is Miami-Dade's Route 11 bus connecting to Route 100 — about 55 minutes and $3. Wynwood and the Design District follow a similar pattern: around 40–45 minutes by bus (Routes 2 and 208). A rideshare is faster for both, typically 10–20 minutes.
Miami International Airport is just a 10-minute drive away, making Casa Rio one of the most convenient home bases in the city — whether you lean on Metrorail, the local bus network, or a quick rideshare to reach the beach, the art district, or downtown nightlife.
