A three-bedroom, three-bathroom property with a private pool. Slow living in the Sicilian countryside
Nestled in a centuries-old olive grove, this eco-friendly residence offers something few places can still provide: the feeling that time has truly slowed down. Light filters through the olive branches. The air smells of wild herbs. The beach is just three minutes away. The property is nestled within a working olive grove on the edge of the Scicli countryside, surrounded by carob and almond trees. The landscape is unhurried and genuinely beautiful.
Scicli, one of the Val di Noto Baroque villages listed by UNESCO, is just a few minutes’ drive away. The beach at Sampieri—long, sandy, and rarely crowded—is even closer.
Recently built to eco-friendly standards, the house is designed to feel rooted in its landscape rather than imposed upon it. The interiors are calm and elegant, furnished throughout with antique Sicilian pieces, thick wooden chests, wrought-iron beds, and terracotta floors.
Camera Limone: opens onto the pool and inner garden, reminiscent of the courtyard of the original farmhouse. En suite bathroom.
Camera Fico d’India: Quiet and cool, facing the garden with an en suite bathroom.
Camera dei Mori: Can be arranged with twin beds or a double bed. Private bathroom, also accessible from the living area.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with an oven, induction cooktop, espresso machine, and moka pot. Everything you need.
You’ll love the private pool overlooking the surrounding countryside, complete with sun loungers, chairs, and an outdoor shower. A shaded poolside lounge makes for unforgettable evenings spent enjoying an aperitivo, reading, or chatting.
The outdoor table seats at least eight and is situated under a pergola offering shade. Dinner here, accompanied by the sound of cicadas and the cool evening air, is one of those experiences guests often mention months later. 3 minutes from Sampieri Beach and the village of Scicli. Catania Airport is approximately 90 minutes by car; Comiso Airport (Ragusa) is about 30 minutes away. A car is recommended for exploring the area.
