About this apartment rental
The Old Mill sits within a peaceful valley near the River Tamar, the historic boundary between Devon and Cornwall.
Surrounded by woodland, farmland and old mill leats, the area has a long history of mining and market gardening.
Guests often mention the wildlife and birdsong here — with deer, birds of prey, otters, bats and songbirds regularly seen around the valley.
The Leat is designed as a comfortable, private space for two guests.
Inside you’ll find a king-size bed, kitchenette, dining area, WiFi, Smart TV, modern shower room and private parking.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy the sunken garden, orchard and shepherd’s hut overlooking the gardens and woodland — perfect for a morning coffee, evening drink or winding down after a Dartmoor ramble.
We live on-site at The Old Mill but always aim to give guests as much privacy and space as they’d like.
Some guests enjoy chatting about the area, gardens and homestead life, while others simply come here to slow down and enjoy the peace and quiet.
We’re always happy to help with recommendations for walks, beaches, pubs and places to explore nearby.
