About this house rental
Welcome to your spacious, relaxing, peaceful retreat in the heart of Milford, DE. Slow down and dive into amenities like the large above ground pool, accommodating deck, fire pit and illuminated pergola area.
The property is over 2 acres. Enjoy over 2,200 SQ feet of living space with chef`s kitchen, den, laundry room living and dining rooms.
3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms complete the upstairs. Wifi, TV`s, games and more - you won`t want or need to leave! Close to DE Turf & beaches.
There is a ton of space with over 2 acres outside and over 2200 square feet of living space inside.
Interior features: 3 spacious bedrooms with 4 beds - Queen in the Primary BR, a Full in BR2 and 2 Full-sized beds in BR3. Central Air downstairs, mini-split heat and air throughout the 2nd floor.
Downstairs you`ll find a large eat-in kitchen which is bordered by the dining room on one side, laundry area on another, powder room not far, and the den with games and activities as well.
The kitchen has everything you would need to prepare and cook your favorite meals. The living room is just inside the front door, to the left after entering the front of the house.
The rear sliding door off the kitchen goes out onto the deck, leading to the outside experience and element of the property.
Exterior features: Above ground pool, deck, gas barbecue grill, pergola and fire pit, large backyard, driveway.
The long driveway makes it easy to park multiple vehicles if your party is a bit larger in size.
You have access to everything other than the garage and the closet in the second bedroom. Both are used as the owner`s dedicated storage areas.
We check in on the message and are available via phone but we don`t typically visit the property during guest stays unless something requires it or something is requested.
This `home away from home` is centrally located (about 15 miles from Dover), but, situated in a rural natural area. It is surrounded by woods, wetlands, and farmland. Please be respectful and mindful of the occasional wildlife (deer, turkeys, raccoons, mice, opossums, etc.) that you might see in the area. Also, insects native to Delaware may be present. Please keep trash in containers, food away, and doors closed. Make your stay a great experience for you, your guests, and the natural inhabitants in the area. Enjoy!

• Please contact me immediately during your stay with any rental emergencies, questions, and/or concerns. If you have questions and/or would like a possible exception to any of the following rules, contact the hosts in advance to discuss possible exceptions.

• Park on the driveway near the garage.
Self check-in/out with smart lock code provided.
• Check-in after 3:00 p.m.
• Check-out before 11:00 a.m.
• Please contact the host in advance if requesting different times as these changes can impact cleaning schedules.
• Exterior security cameras for added property and guest security (front and back of house).
Guests have access to:
• first and second floors
• the deck, fire pit, and pergola areas
• the outside yard/driveway
Guests do not have access to owner storage areas:
• second bedroom closet upstairs
• hall and kitchen closets downstairs
• garage
• outside- shed
Home/Property Safety:
• Smoke alarm
• Fire extinguisher under kitchen sink (fire station 2.1 miles:)
• First aid kit (upstairs bathroom vanity drawer)
• Exterior security cameras
• Stairs must be climbed for second story access
• If you would like to have a fire, please use the outside fire pit. Do not leave the fire unattended. Make sure the fire is extinguished before leaving the area.
• Inside fireplace is not for guest use.
During Your Stay
• If more than identified number of guests arrive, guests will be asked to leave.
• No parties or events may be held without prior approval from host.
• No commercial photography is permitted without prior express consent.
• Smoking is not allowed.
• To help keep down cleaning fees, please clean up after yourself. Treat our home as your home away from home.
• Please help conserve energy during your stay. Turn off lights not being used.
• Do not leave food/drink outside. Also, please clean the grill if used. Food/drink left outside attracts animals (bees during the summer).
Pets:
If you will be bringing a pet (maximum of two), you will need to notify us in advance. Pets should be house-trained. Please do not let pets on the furniture. This can be an issue for other guests. There will be a separate $75 pet cleaning fee to ensure preparation for next guest(s). The fee will be paid in the Airbnb site after the booking is made. If you have questions about additional pets, contact homeowner prior to stay.
Pets left at home alone in the home must be crated. Crates will not be provided by homeowner. For safety reasons, please do not let your pet loose unsupervised outside of the fenced yard area. Clean up/pick up after your pet “does it’s business.”
Departure:
• Please wash used bed and bath linens or leave them in the laundry room for thorough cleaning practices.
• Trash bags used outside and/or in the house should be fastened and placed in the large trash can at the end of the garage. Please close the lid to help deter raccoons and other animals from making a mess.
Extended Stays (longer than two weeks):
• All of the above rules and information apply to extended stay guests.
• In addition, designated cleaners will enter the home and other property areas at least bi-weekly for cleaning purposes.
• If additional services are needed, guests may request those services.
• If the homeowner needs to enter the home to access the homeowner designated storage areas, the guest(s) will receive a call/text in advance. This would likely only occur during extended stays of greater than two weeks.
Failure to comply with any of the above rules can result in the reservation being immediately cancelled and the guest(s) being requested to leave the premises, risking forfeiture of prepaid monies.
Landlord/owner is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property of tenant(s).
