Prime Hook Retreat is a spacious four bedroom two bathroom house that sits directly on the Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge. The house is open and bright with views of the Refuge from the second story living room, balcony, and all four bedrooms. From the front of the house, enjoy the view of the Delaware Bay in the fully enclosed sun room.
This house has plenty of space to spread out! The large sunroom has comfortable couches to enjoy the view of the bay or an afternoon nap. A game table with an assortment of board games and puzzles for fun with family or friends. Or just sit back in one of the chairs and read a good book. The living room has a beautiful view of the marsh with plenty of seating to socialize or watch a movie. Seat the whole family at the large dining table for dinner or games. Or if you like, enjoy that meal on the front patio under the sunroom.
A laundry and full bathroom are on the ground level along with an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach.
Located in the Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge, this quiet community is away from the hustle and bustle of crowds and traffic. Enjoy the wildlife, star filled night sky, and wide open sandy beach.

The house was beautiful. There were many games and books provided, as well as some chairs, umbrellas and toys for the beach. Beach access was very close, right across the street. Everything was very clean. The views from both the front and back of the property were stunning. My family had an amazing time.

We had a wonderful vacation staying at Michael and Laura’s beach house! The location was perfect—just across the street from the beach access, which made trips to the beach incredibly easy with our small children.The house was the ideal size for our family and our two dogs. It was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, including extra towels, sheets, blankets, and a well-equipped kitchen.Michael and Laura were fantastic hosts. They were very responsive before and during our stay, providing all the information we needed for our trip. When we realized we needed an additional item during our stay, they brought it over right away, which we really appreciated.One of our favorite features was the many places throughout the house to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach and sunset views.The beach itself was peaceful and perfect for young children. In the evenings, we had so much fun exploring with the kids and discovering crabs, hermit crabs, and beautiful large shells along the shore.Overall, Mike and Laura’s beach house was a fantastic place to stay. We truly enjoyed our time there and look forward to returning for another vacation in the future. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly beach getaway!
